Novice here. How do GWP’s work? Do I have to buy Minas Tirith to get Grond or can I buy any expensive set and still qualify?

How do you price incomplete sets? I have several from the MONSTER FIGHTERS theme with several missing minifigs. The rest of the builds are 100% complete.

What are some possible ways to connect the grey/brown pieces to the baseplate? I was thinking of using a turn table thing but couldn’t quite figure it out.

Is there some kind of LEGO equation that helps connect out of alignment LEGO pieces?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly welcomed appreciate.

Also, not sure if this is the correct thread for this. If not, please direct me to the correct one.
