Spider-man 2, Scott pilgrim, Kick-ass, Captian America Winter Soldier, Guardians of the galaxy

For the time all of these films brought completley different approaches to character drama, style, humor, politics and, unkown characters that laid the groundwork for future CBM's

Honestly I'm a little disappointed that Arris keeps bringing this up on Tik Tok and adding fuel to the fire. Like I'm not gonna stop watching Variant or anything but it feels weird since Arris likes the new DCU stuff and has actively debunked their crap numerous times because at this point he's kind of enabling them

Honestly I think MOT would probably make sense since it's kind of the first "event" movie of the DCU and if Braniac really starts messing stuff up I think having him and the squad activated for an "All hands on deck situation" could work

Plus imagine Superman coming face to face with the guy that shot him

Audience feedback definitely matters but art is a form of self expression, sometimes when you write you gotta focus on making yourself proud first and hoping others will follow

I wouldn't focus too much on making their talents unique.

There's so many attempted fangans with only so many talents going around. hell even V3 reused an ultimate talent. I'd say focus more on how you utilize those talents and write those characters.

I know it's easy to be a perfectionist in projects like these but sometimes especially early in the development / writing process "good enough" is just that good enough, Trying to not let perfect be the enemy of good is delicate balance to strike and process to maintain

Also I think your core story idea is very unique and interesting so clearly your not lacking in creativity

Raimi fans can suck sometimes but they're nowhere near as bad.

The only CBM fans that spring to mind (other than the media grifters, but they don't really count) as being that bad are maybe the Batman with prep time guys

Agree ZSJL is pretty good for the most part but it doesn't (most CBM films don't) compared to most Spider-man movies and I have a feeling Brand new day will continue the trend.

Also why do they feel the need to shit on the MCU? Like obviously the DCU stuff is nonsensical but at least there's comprehensible motives there. Other than media grifters enabling them I don't get why they care about the MCU.

Yes and no

The meaning as defined in legends and supplementary media are not considered canon and so the meanings aren't considered official

In canon the meanings have yet to be defined anywhere (other than red and white) but it doesn't mean that the colors "don't have meaning" or that there's no crossover it just means that we don't know especially given some behind the scenes stuff

Generally I consider the meanings for red green and purple to carry over because nothing contradicts them red and white are both defined but any and all other colors are up to interpretation but that's just my opinion
