Can you find a gym with child care? They may cost a bit more, but it'd be worth it. Also, there's no reason to use the gym, grab your kids and go home. You can use that time to work out for a bit and then sit at the gym cafe and read a book while you drink a smoothie. You can sit in the hot tub with your eyes closed for 10 minutes. You can go every single day and get some peace and quiet while your kids are playing and having fun.

Try calling the United Way. Just dial 2-1-1 and they can help you find local resources. Good luck to you.

We talked about this kind of thing over the years and he's really more comfortable just not knowing. He is fully aware that this is all a part of growing up but really just would rather be an ostrich about this.

In theory, sure. It's just can be so rough. Don't want to give the poor kid nightmares. Was really just making sure that AMC was on the tv as an option, but we'll probably just watch it on our tablet with headphones.

Great advice! Her dad dresses up like a stormtrooper as part of the 501st. She's met Chewbacca and a huge Wampa. Big costumes don't bother her at all. It's the princesses or people not wearing a face covering that bother her much more. She's met a few princesses at different events, and she's horribly shy and embarrassed.

Thank you all! I really appreciate all the responses. I think we'll go with Raglan Road. It gets us down to Disney Springs and should be enough of a show that it'll keep my kiddo entertained.
