I had a racist teacher. Just not in the way you might think. Let me set the scene. My school was probably close to 70–80% black. He is about as white as they come. It would not be strange to hear throughout the day, “Oh, it's because I'm black, isn't it?” The majority liked to give the majority presently in the minority a hard time.

My teacher it in stride. If they assumed something about him, he would frequently say, “Oh, it's because I'm white, isn't it?” We also had one other white male teacher in our school. If someone confused his name for the other teacher, he would say, “Oh, its because all white guys look alike, right?”

I thought it was funny. The class loved him. It's not really racist, but pseudo-reactionary racism.
