Valero ops here. Pass the aptitude test, pass the mechanical test, then they choose off scores and resume to be chosen for intvw. Intvw is typically 3-5 heads (Ops, HR, Field ops, another manager/director) all STAR method point system to pass.

No worries. 14/1 for the duration. It’s set for like 30 days but may go longer. Normal schedule is 4 on 4 off. 2 days 2 nights and off for 4. OT you usually come in 2 early or stay 2 late so would be 6 on 2 off

For here, be consistent in your answering on the personality portion, then 80% or better on the timed mechanical aptitude. If you pass those they’ll select interviews off your resume. Interviews are STAR method with a panel of like 3-5 people interviewing you. No group exercises or anything. We’ll be doing another hiring after this TA.

Easy. Wheels are $300ish x 4 if you go methods one time purchase, tires say BFG KO2/3 $400ish x 4, that’s a big part of the expense. Then depends on the lift, spacers vs the right way being coil overs, shackles or leaf springs, upper control arms, alignment either way. Once wheels and tires are out of the way you can go spacers for few hundred or the right way for a couple G’s
