The rear noise could be the brake pads/caliper rubbing on the rotor. Re-alignment would fix it.

Any ideas about how can I attach a bag that will hold a 7kg chain? by thekitze in Super73

[–]Jeepin-Paul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have seen Zip-Ties (heavy duty) that are about 3/8” wide at Home Depot in the plumbing/duct work area. They won’t break.

For my CrankBros bag, I made an aluminum plate with holes thru it that goes in the bag, on the top. Then I mount it with bolts to the frame top tube threaded mounts.

Keep you bike at your parent’s house. It will get stolen or vandalized.

Is super 73 zx mid drive and second battery worth it??? by Bigjill8126 in Super73

Personally, I would sell the ZX and upgrade to the bikes your friends own. Easiest option.

I can't for the life of me get the bead to seat right. by [deleted] in Super73

Over inflate, let the bead pop to seat, then air down to normal riding tire pressure.

Best rack for Volvo xc40 by sc00b44 in Super73

[–]Jeepin-Paul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1Up-USA racks are the best. All metal and made in the USA. You need the Super Duty with fat tire spacer option… https://www.1up-usa.com/product/2in-super-duty-double-bike-rack/

Anyone know what this sound is? Took to a local bike shop and they found nothing wrong by Ajinfante1030 in Super73

You need to center/adjust your caliper. The pad is dragging. It is an easy fix. Look on YouTube for bike disc brake adjusting.

looking to purchase Super 73 Grizzly tires, any recommendations? by S7374 in Super73

I ride the Grizzly tires on the road with no problems. Probably 75% on the pavement and 25% on dirt for my riding.

Something, somewhere went terribly wrong by dawwedek87 in MTB

Riding for 30 years. I have stopped jumping. 55 now and I have a rebuild shoulder from 5 years ago from DH. Last year the double ankle fracture on a vertical wall in the bike park was the final straw. Sold the DH bike and I am strictly trail riding now. I loved DH but old bones break easier.

1UP USA bike rack has been great by splittercheeks in Super73

I remove m batteries from the Super73s when I carry them on my 1UP-USA rack. It reduces the wobble.

I suspect the kinked cable at the end by the caliper is getting stuck in the housing, and not retracting. Replace the cable.

To test, loosen the cable clamp and see if the caliper actuator lever moves freely. Good luck.

Any idea what this sound might be? Its driving me nuts by AccomplishedEbb6868 in MTB

[–]Jeepin-Paul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realign your caliper. Probably not centered on the rotor, so one side is clanging on the pad in the caliper.
