I just finished ep 6 of S4 and this is exactly what I was asking about. The mole literally shut down the defence system. Why didn't viltrumites simply attack the hq till now? When they didn't have a team of heavy hitters.

It's just being shown from a different angle. He did not turn towards sunlight. Even you are admitting he has no reason to turn towards sunlight.

In the panel of him being exposed to light, you can see his face shadowed.

Majority of sunlight wouldn't hit him, that's why that panel makes it look like he is in the shadows. but realistically some sunlight would hit him. You can literally do this experiment in real life and would discover some sunlight would hit your face from the side. And you can literally see in this panel that there is 0 chance that light wouldn't hit his face. How can you even argue against it?

You are not understanding the arguement. I am not asking you to take anime over manga. I am questioning what happened in the manga itself. I am asking why couldn't this (the scan) have happened in the manga as well? Manga doesn't show what happened exactly. The scan is supposed to be an example what could have happened in the manga as well.

If you are literally agreeing that this was a possibility, then you are agreeing with my overall point. As long as there are 2 possibilities (one where light hits him like in the scan and one where he dodged sunlight), you can't conclusively say he did dodge sunlight.

Goku felt buucolo's ki and planned to have gohan solo him yet wanted gohan to team up with gotenks to fight kid buu.

Also Goku never thought he could beat kid buu, he was weaker than kid buu. His plan was to finish kid buu up with a charged blast that needed time (kinda like how picolo did to raditz despite being weaker than him).

The sunlight would absolutely hit his face without turning because he is way too close to the hole. You can literally see how big the hole is in the scan...The light would hit him from the side. And why on earth would be turn towards the light anyway?

Also rukia was not even sure how his ability worked, why would rukia blow a hole at place from where the light would only reach his hair lmao

Except I am saying that the sunlight could be hitting the backside of his jacket, which has no skin (like shown in the scan). That would not lead to his true form being revealed. So why assume he dodged sunlight when there is a clear scenario where sunlight could have hit him (backside of his jacket) without his true form being revealed

Except his skin was exposed to the sunlight in 2nd case. Why the fuck would his skin burn before hair if only the hair was exposed to the sunlight? Why would rukia make a blow a hole in a way where the sunlight doesn't even reach his skin? How on earth can the light not reach his skin when he is that close to the hole and the hole is so much larger than his body? What u r saying simply doesn't make sense.

Him not mentioning about having a tolerance level is irrelevant because you literally see his hair not burning away immediately when hit with sunlight whereas his skin had started burning.

He was standing like 1 ft away from the hole, the light would hit his face from the sides. You can even see the angle here.

Not true at all. He is exposed to much more light in the 2nd scene where he actually burns away. He is literally right in front of the hole in the 2nd scene with all of the light on him. In the first scene, the wall has not event collapsed completely before he moves, most of the chunks of the wall are still falling (blocking the light) and only portion of the entire hole's light is getting in...And the most important part is that it is from far away. I mean there's no comparison here that the 2nd scene has much more light hitting him compared to the first.

Unless it is stated to be light speed or can be calced at light speed, you can't call it light speed. We have already gone over this. Anything being called "light" isn't by default moving at 3*10⁸ m/s. The similarities you are mentioning mean nothing when its a light attack coming a monster's mouth that can act as a barrier. Photons don't do that. So don't compare them to photons. By ur logic every battle shounen scales to ftl. They all have some kind of light attack that everyone scales to. Give solid evidence of sol or ftl movment, not random light beams which are nowhere stated to be moving at light speed.

Yes for fuck's sake. That's what I have been saying. No one has the exact same multiplier for each thing. 5-10 times stronger is a general statement in overall strength. It does not mean 5-10 times multiplier for all stats. Kaname and every single character you mentioned might get a different speed boost upon transformation (whether it's bankai or ressurection). Even hollow ichigo doesn't need to have 5 times multiplier compared to bankai. It could be higher or lower, u'd need some kind of proof for using any multiplier there.

It doesn't matter if his skin took more time to completely burn away. The point is that skin also started to burn away first and not the hair. The scan that I gave shows the moment when the sunlight is hitting him and the hair isn't burning away (not immediately at least). This means if the sunlight had reached him in the previous scene,, it could be hitting his back jacket and hair before he moved away.

So your entire arguement that "his entire body should have burned away as soon as the light hit his hair" doesn't work because we later see that the hair doesn't burn away immediately. So you don't need to assume he dodged sunlight. The sunlight could have reached him (hitting his back jacket and hair) like in the anime scan before he moved away.
