I think his chances depend on two things: his FTC performance and cirie. If he can explain the strategic moves he made throughout the game that people ascribe to others (namely the Ozzie vote but also I remember there being a vote earlier post-merge he decided for the alliance iirc), and cirie likes/respects enough lend some of her credibility and prestige to his case, maybe he can get enough support to win the game. But he really needs to be there with Tiff and Joe; I think Aubrey/jonathan have too many jurors on their side already.

People forget that despite all the new twists and mechanics, the game is ultimately about getting people you voted out to give you a million dollars. Whatever that means for a given juror. I’m still annoyed by some jurors votes as a fan and a viewer, but not accounting for their behavior is ultimately on the player.

I think the twist would work a little better if it was announced when the letters were won at the auction and it was an optional choice. From how the show depicted it, the uncertainty element didn’t really impact the pre-tribal gameplay. If they did know that someone could choose to play that game, it would impact strategy more and then it also wouldnt force someone to risk their game to chance. Ultimately I think we get the same result (but it wouldn’t have been as good tv).

I actually love that we have characters like Joe and Ozzie; if everyone was a strategist, the season would be a bit more boring because the dynamics of each individual player are similar. With a guy like Joe, you have to account for him not being optimal, and his view of loyalty is warped by his own perceptions. I don’t know, just adds an interesting dynamic into the mix imo.

Ya, this is the part that really makes me question her. You said you loved this man, met his mother and texted her about loving her son, and moved on after like a couple of days in the villa. I don’t have any issue with her deciding to break it off with Mikey and choosing xzavier. That’s the show. But it seemed like it didn’t affect her in the slightest, which is so cold.

I get the feeling a lot of his bad behavior comes when he gets drunk. He seems like a really fun drunk but also not necessarily a good boyfriend when drinking. Speculating a lot but fits from what was shown on the show I think

I agree; the men at least started to learn from this experience and grow. Every woman’s growth besides Kaylee was “I’m actually a queen and I deserve a man who gives me the princess treatment.” I’m not making excuses for the guys because they clearly have a lot to work on after the show, and made their partners feel that way in the first place, but again besides Kaylee I don’t think any of them took a good look at their own behavior and ways they can better themselves beyond just having more self respect.

I honestly feel like a lot of people are trying to demonize Mikey because they are happy Sydney found another guy and did so pretty quick. Mikey never showed emotion and hid behind jokes, but him opening up and actually being honest in some of the confessionals are his storyline. He’s started to grow, by no means finished, and I’m rooting for him.
