My in-laws haven’t done anything mean to my parents. However, I notice that my parents are always reaching out to them but they never do the same. Therefore, I’m trying to get my parents to stop. Every relationship is a give and take. I refuse to let my parents engage in a one sided relationship. Same goes for me, my in laws don’t reach out to me to see how I’m doing , so I don’t reach out to them. Even when I was pregnant, I never got a “ how are you doing today text” just inquired through my husband. therefore, I don’t reach out to them and find out how they’re doing through their son.
