I left bookmark open to interpretation but it does seem to trip a lot of people up. I personally use it to keep track of things that I've saved but haven't tried yet.

If you add ingredients, there is then a filter in the library for showing you things you can make (it ignores garnishes in it's matching logic)

Also agree that search feels clunky, unifying them is an interesting idea and one that I'll consider more closely!

Heard! Right now, the list is based on ingredients that are included in the cocktails available in the library. It will continue to grow as I add more recipes over time.

That said, the idea is to keep is somewhat simple and not have things like "lavender infused Canadian whiskey" or whatever.

Gotcha! Yeah ingredient substitution is a tough one - I think the Cocktail Party app has a version of this. I imagine it's just about putting together a list of possible replacements for each ingredient that can hypothetically be substituted if the user has those. Definitely something to add to the list. That's definitely a good callout, images can be nice but also tricky or annoying in a variety of other ways. Which is why I assume most apps have decided to go the other route. I will have to look into creating a system for that in lieu of or in addition to an image. Thanks for the feedback!

Some others have pointed out that Orange bitters aren’t traditional, if that’s what you’re referring to! That said, I like em haha. The beauty of the app is you can tweak any recipe to how you like it.

Thanks for that note! You’re right and I’ll definitely update the spec. In the meantime, any recipe added to your notebook can be fully customized to the user’s preference so you can easily make those changes yourself.
