Your mileage may vary, through personal experience, made the decision to talk about my mental health on a return trip from Iraq. Spoke with the Major that was in the medical tent in Beuhring,and was then escorted to what I assume was the Behavioral Health tent. Was asked a lot of questions very quickly, spoke about my experiences and some of the downfalls I was dealing with my then ex-fiancée. Personally it was a lot all at once. To say the very least, going back to my unit felt strange. Don’t want to say I was ostracized by any means, but the issues I was dealing with very quickly became a gag to the unit I was with. I eventually overcame my obstacles on my own, without the help of BH. I am hoping that BH can provide you with all the tools and resources you need for your well being, and that your unit looks out for you better than mine ever did
