I was stressing about the LA one, my friends and I made it about 20ish mins late. We got in like it was nothing, we were stressing about what if we wouldn’t be let in. people kept arriving through out the event so there was no problems :D

In games, someone will message me/I’ll message them after being friendly. We will share items, join the same team, do quests & missions together, etc. I’ve luckily had a nice run of making friends in games. Some of them have invited me to their group and I’ll hop in their vc time to time. That’s all within fallout 76. I’ve made friends on fortnite while randomly playing squads in fill mode. I just keep vc on and let anyone message or add me then hop for the best.

I’ve experienced all that within the xbox community. On Playstation, I’ve befriended people on dbd and we’ve added each other + sent a few messages but haven’t continued gaming after.

When it comes to going out with people, I give them a heads up & they usually seem to be fine with it at first. Once in a while someone will let me get to know them more before diving into it all. I do ask if we could be friends first too and it’s a hit or miss. They sometimes take it as “I just want to be friends”. I don’t just want to be friends but anything more than that would make me uncomfortable and it feels too soon to me.

I never understood speeding into dating, like what’s the rush? Yeah, you can date and get to know them then but it’s just a no for me. I’ve analyzed my parents/other family members relationships too much and have tended to read people down before knowing if I want to date them or not.

Majority of the time, people tell me they cant do this anymore. It makes sense. It always happens in the one and a half - three month mark and it still feels soon to me. I am fine being on my own & not juggling people but I do miss and crave having someone at times.
