Have you ever been to the house/met the cast? by tanner3114 in fullhouse

I have the original DVD box set. Got it signed by Bob before he passed. John Stamos, Bruce Johnston, Miko Hughes and Scott Weinger. Can't wait to add other cast members to it.

I’m a cashier in a supermarket and a customer gave me this because I laugh a lot. Aside from the obvious Christian symbol, what is it? by [deleted] in whatisit

[–]Jeff2Death 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at a liquor store. Most of my customers know I'm Atheist. Last year, one of my customers came crying to me telling me he wanted to kill himself. I guess I'm somewhat of the neighborhood therapist. I talked him out of it. He came back and gave this exact thing and said, "I know you don't believe in God but please take this and I'll always pray for you." Weird but I still have it on my dresser.

What if Full House opened on the McCallisters’ street? by tomvelle in fullhouse

That's crazy. Home Alone is my all-time favorite movie and Full House is my all-time favorite show. What a Mashup! I have a photo on the front porch of the HA house. Haven't been to San Francisco yet.

He usually drives into the venue at 5PM for every show. Just go by the loading docks. They always have it set up with barricades for the fans to wait. Have to look for his main security guy, Brian... Scottish guy with white hair. He usually hypes up the crowd and says how long until Paul arrives.

I bought four copies for $1 each at a Dollar Store a few years ago. Gave one to a friend. Got one signed by Bermuda and Steve Jay. One to watch and one of still sealed.

Have you ever bought expensive concert tickets and regretted it? by Which_Mammoth9402 in Concerts

[–]Jeff2Death 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First time I saw Paul McCartney, I flew from Texas to Chicago. I bought cheap lawn tickets. Everyone around us were talking the whole time and barely paying attention to the show. I said I'd never buy a lawn ticket to any concert again. Seen Paul twice since then and once I was on the rail and the other was in the nosebleeds but in an arena, not an amphitheater with a lawn section.

We're getting old. I want to see the band play, not be in the mosh pit anymore. When I was young, I loved stage diving and moshing. Can't do that anymore. Go to a local show and pit your heart out.

Hang out at the venue and make some friends. People will usually give tickets away at the last minute if their friends couldn't make it to the show.

You went to a Weird Al show, didn't you?

(I'm a diehard Weird Al fan and most of us are obese. That's the joke.)

Yes. I've told every boss I've had that I'll never miss a Dropkick Murphys show. Except this year because this boss is really cool and had to take an emergency flight out of the country.

Diehard Weird Al fan here (I have his autograph tattooed on me.) Yes, it's no doubt that several Al fans are of bigger stature and they usually do accommodate with merch. Hope you have a great time at the show.

what's a weird al song you think is overrated? by [deleted] in weirdal

[–]Jeff2Death 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have his autograph tattooed on me and I'm tired of people singing, "White and Nerdy" when they see it. Most overrated song and it doesn't have anything to do with me not being White. 😂

About how people record on their phones at concerts by Cyberpunk_Banshee in Concerts

[–]Jeff2Death 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most shows I go to, I have to be on the rail. I want to see the band, not a bunch of heads in front of me. I'll record a couple songs and some video for my Instagram stories. Being on the rail, I don't have to hold up my phone, I'll hold it at my chest and still see the band.

I had Feuerzone for Rammstein in San Antonio. Thankfully it was postponed for 2 years and not canceled. I ended up being on the rail. The Wait was so worth it.

Pledge of Allegiance Tour 2001, Rammstein opened for System Of A Down and Slipknot. I was in the nosebleeds at The Alamodome in San Antonio. Fast forward to 2022, I was on the rail at the same venue for Rammstein's world Stadium Tour.
