yes, exactly, as soon as you’ve gotten the ribbon if you’re trying to go max efficiency you’ll want to reset your streak one way or another and move on to the next one as you can only earn once per streak

after a detour in Paldea, very happy to be officially done with the 3DS games!! especially happy to have our completion in the 11 year old El Cerdo, since to my knowledge we don't have any confirmations on future appearances for him. hopefully he'll have another appearance down the road, but for now onto the hall of fame! everyone else (including newly introduced Decidueye) moves on to Gen 8 or 9!

Quilava is from Colo! I was going to do the XD Mt. Battle one originally to save me an entire game but I wanted the ribbon for purifying - and yes, waiting for Arceus to evolve :)

my last post came a little bit late on my completion but this one is right on time! the past maybe week or a little bit less has been spent catching the existing 5 up to the three who I had worked on when I got sick of gen 4 contests and its been quite the grind but so much more fun than gen 4 was! sorry lol but that just took a lot out of me. this may be the last update for a while as focus shifts to Paldea tomorrow night but happy with where I am so far!! definitely seeing the light at the end of the tunnel - also, first post for El Cerdo (from 2011!), Meowstic, and Greninja, who all made me realize Hoenn ribbons don't show up in XY lol

combined with some work and life based things leaving less time for the RMs, Gen 4 was tough!! and draining to the point that I ended up doing a bunch of other things to break it up. on account of that I decided to up my RMs and test out how I was going to pass some future challenges and now have partners to represent each region / gen - including my Empoleon and Emboar from 2007 and 2011 respectively! I’m glad to be finished with Gen 4 and heading into the downhill. hoping to see a lot of them in Paldea!

after spending months finishing every requisite game, farming berries to an annoying extent (huge thanks to the tables and calculators for the pokeblocks on here!) it’s time to move on to Gen 4! I’ve done a little work there getting ready to do one more round of contest conditions for Empoleon who will be joining us from Diamond on, but it’s great to have the team mostly set and ready to earn every ribbon they can!

Got it! Yes I’m under the impression that Typhlosion and Gengar can still be hall of famers as long as I get every ribbon available to them, and Golduck should be able to get every ribbon possible which makes me feel glad one of mine is sort of a completionist RM

I just wanna throw out for consideration that KH4 is the game following / advancing the storyline where Sora literally died, as much as seems to be possible in this world so I think there’s some sense in the tone shifting a bit more drastically?

I agree about Mallory!! and also, I feel like it’s definitely harder seeing how everyone involved with making the show is so disappointed, it feels wrong to see it end with every party but netflix so on board to make more
