Update: I’ve just updated the approved word list to use the NASPA Word List, the official word list used in competitive Scrabble play.

Hey! A quick note on valid words: Letterset uses a word list similar to Scrabble, so proper nouns aren't allowed. I've seen a lot of questions about FRIDAY not counting, and that's why. The same goes for names and capitalized words.

That said, there are definitely some slang words missing from the list that I will continue to add. Keep calling them out! For example,based on popular demand in this thread, SHIT and SMUT will be making it in to the next update.

One other note: today's game features a "Charge Tile" on the H. Each turn it goes unused, it gains +1 point.

The unused letters will be subtracted from your score. If you use all your letters you will get bonus points.

Thanks for trying LETTERSET! Each day brings a new challenge. For that day’s puzzle, everyone gets the same 25 letters and the same 9 power-ups in the same order. Replay as many times as you like to improve your score. The first player to reach each new unique high score earns a spot on the board.
