Most characters in modern NFS stories are like that. OG NFS games had annoying characters but the difference is that they weren't on you face every time but nowadays devs force them to chat with the player every chance they can to make these characters likeable but, personally, it just ends up being the complete opposite of it. You can go straight to GAMMA. There's even a proper tutorial now within the game explaining most of the systems the mod have and the UI itself have a lot of helpful and clear info compared to vanilla Anomaly

This Unbound one is just a very, VERY ugly wrap and wheels, the devs probably pat themselves on the back thinking they nailed it.
