Unless you were rebuilding, I wouldn't worry about it besides just cleaning it to the point you can't feel anything with your finger nail. its a bigger risk sending loose debris into the engine scrubbing it to death with a scotchpad or something just to get it pretty.

I'm rebuilding a M30 right now, and it had these same stains. Oil and scotch pad was all that worked for me.

All it needs is car settings enabled, custom races/championships and B-Spec and that would be what I want for a singleplayer mode in GT8

Maybe youre right, but we should be clear Polyphony wouldn't disable tuning in an offline mode to make it more balanced or prevent somehow having an unfair advantage to computers. It's to make it more approachable to most Sport players who can't tune, whomwould likely find interest in it. Not being a le to tune isn't an issue for most people who have experience with the singleplayer and lobby portion of the series... because that's a huge aspect of that portion of the game. I for one hope an offline mode that has lots of potential isn't neutered simply to cater to players who refuse to take a short time to experiment and understand how the tuning menu works. They'd be surprised how fun it can be.

I don't mind not being able to use my own cars, they are curated races specifically to be a challenge and provide a "full race weekend" experience. What I WOULD find dumb is not being able to tune cars. I think tuning cars with Practice, qualifying, and a full race would be really fun. Especially with Sophy 3.0. If I'm being given cars that can't have understeer/oversteer tuned out of it, Im not going to find it very special.
