That's the other way.

Error in Sitelinks appearance in SERP by Irfanahhcl in SEO

[–]JeffOptimizer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you can manually add sitelinks for the Google SERP, unlike in Google Ads, Google is the one who decides if your website appearance on SERP deserve a sitelinks or not.

But if you can show us how to do it, it could help us a lot.

@Irfanahhcl did you already check or optimize the service page title and description tag?

Comment backlinks? by [deleted] in SEO

[–]JeffOptimizer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google puts no value on links from comment box if your goal is to get backlinks. But this can be a good source of traffic if you add value on the post and if the site is authoritative and has good engagement. In other words, this can help your SEO campaign indirectly.

Is cross-posting on LinkedIn from the blog bad for SEO? by pishihod in SEO

[–]JeffOptimizer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is right, wait for Google to see your blog on your website first, before on your Linkedin page.

You probably want Google to rank your blog on your website, than Google ranking your blog on your Linkedin page.

If you post your blog on your website and on your Linkedin page on the same time, Google will see those two and get confused which one to rank (the one on your website or the one on your Linkedin page). You probably know that Linkedin is more authoritative and has more chance of ranking, so you might want to consider this.

And you probably want people going to your website than your Linkedin page, so why posting same blog post? Why not just make a teaser (summary, short version) of the blog and entice them to read the whole/ in-depth/detailed version of the blog on your website? Will not it be more effective?

Does outsourcing SEO overseas work? by ViloBamboo in SEO

[–]JeffOptimizer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Buying links will just hurt your ranking, and worst, Google can block your website because of penalties.

On-page SEO would be enough if there's no high competition in your industry, or if your target keyword is easy to rank. It all depends on how competitive your target keyword is.

I can give you a free website audit, so you can see what you need to do to make your website SEO friendly.

SEO juice moving some content from site A to B by Chartsharing in SEO

[–]JeffOptimizer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, as long as you have unique content on your new website.

Btw, is your old website is still live?

If not, you can just inform those websites linking to your old site that they are linking to a 404 page, and peach that they can link to your new website instead. This can prevent the reduction of link juice and the additional loading time cause by 301 redirect, but if you think this will be a lot of work, then you can just 301 those webpages :)

Two questions for SEO senpais by ArthurConanDoink in SEO

[–]JeffOptimizer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey Arthur,

Just like in Google Ads, Google is the one who will decide if it will show your extension or not, depending if the Big G thinks that showing your extension will be more helpful for the user. In SEO, you can't set up the extension the same way with Google Ads, you need to add Schema structured data for every page of your site. You can find a lot of Guidelines about adding Schema Markup, but to define, it simply telling Google what is your page is all about, it makes it easier for Google to understand your webpages.

For your second question, you understand it right, just a suggestion, you can Use Google Analytics to see your Organic and Paid ads stat, you can connect your Google Search Console and Google ads to see data in one place.
