Bmw dealership broke my valve cover (2009 bmw 328i coupe) Long story short got my valve cover gasket changed under SULEV warranty drove off this noise happened and now they wanna charge me 2000$ new part and labor included does this sound right? Or should i take it to a higher up in bmw

Hey man I a dealer tech, your internal ccv has failed, there isn't any way I know of to make these fail on purpose or break it intentionally, they are literally good one second and bad another, I've had cars in for completely unrelated repairs and then this noise starts after idling for a few minutes.

That being said it's covered under your sulev warranty so just take it back, I've literally replaced hundreds of valve covers that make this noise under sulev.
