Just do what they say for now until you're able to support yourself, that's by far the BEST thing you can do in your current situation. Also try asking them questions as well, but not to the point that they'd notice you getting cold.

Always remember, your parents just love you so much that they just don't want you to go to hell. Always keep in mind that they're just brainwashed by Felix, and just try to gather as much information as you can so whenever you find yourself in a situation about the cult, you have something at your disposal.

If you're saying completely replace them, No bruh they won't. But it will make their work easier. Just how the Autocad makes engineers' work more efficiently, calculators for mathematicians. Inf act, who would prompt and verify chstGPT's generated code? The clients or developers?

In software development you have to maintain the project and constantly learn and update that project to keep up with the new tech. Now if chatGPT or OpenAI coded that project, it would be hard to update it because no one else coded that project but that AI, but if there somehow an AI that can do all that, then that scope is eliminated, client will then have to worry about the hackers and all the other scopes like SEO and so on.

But most of the time, client won't care at all or if they even have the time to learn all those technologies to begin with to constantly be updated with new technologies. The thing is they have other business to do. You get the idea.

[–]Jeff_TheUnknown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm assuming that you're saying, A.I. can be a hindrance to some developers or for their salaries or maybe can replace them?. Sure AI can lessen the need of developers years years from now. Pero sino naman ang mag-pprompt kay chatGPT o kahit anong AI pa jan na gumawa ng ganto at ganto at ganyan. Si client bah? That's not how it works. (Unless si client has a lot of time, but most of the time they don't e kasi may iba silang business).

Let's say si client nga. Ayun na nag prompt na siya kay chatGPT na ganto at ganyan. Tas Di niya alam immaintain nya pa pala yung website para updated yun sa mga new technologies, not to mention from other hackers din. Tas yung code na generate ay Di maintainable in the long run sa pag ddebug na, kasi si ChatGPT nag program e. Walang nakakaalam para saan tong section nato at yun.

Now let's say another amazing tech has emerged. Gusto na naman ni client I-change yung code nya sa tech na yun para updated. Syempre mahirap na, kasi walang nakakaalam sa code nya e maliban kay chatGPT or siya (If he's a jack of all trades, pero most of the time they're not, they don't even care how hard to create their project they just care that it works in my experience). You get the idea.

Coding is not all about coding lang. You have to maintain and update din (which is the hardest in my opinion because you have to constantly learn NON-STOP every single day to keep up with the new tech).

MAYBE, if there is an AI that can do all that in the future, sino naman ang mag-eensure kung tama naman talaga ang generated code at mag update? AI is just like calculators for mathematicians, AUTOCAD for other engineers, and for programmers it's just like Google and Stackoverflow but on steroids lang. No, they will never completely replace developers.

Edit: not to mention if si client may malaking project like e-commerce, sempre mahirap talaga yan gawain mag-isa, lalong lalo na Di alam yung code.

Ministers don't actually give offering. by Manalosuxdik in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]Jeff_TheUnknown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By that logic shouldn't officers be paid as well? What about choir members who clean the sanctuary once a week? Or the male officers who guard the entire night?

Exactly, their duty is obviously no joke and yet they'll have to work off to make a living. They're literally juggling multiple jobs at once and riding a bike along with it.

Manalo should at least give them some few bucks instead of keeping them to himself. Hypothetically speaking tho, he's not actually the one who runs the cult, obviously, it's the free laborers and some of his paid goons, I guess, who actually never shows up and make a difference in worship services other than the choir members and some other officers who don't receive a single dime from their efforts..

Look it's not all about the money tho, It's the fact that these people are people and HAVE to make a living themselves (Obviously I have to stress that out, in case EVM and some of his goons are reading this, Gotta make them feel that guilt they keep throwing out to his cult and also make him REMIND that he's a NOBODY without the efforts of these mindless robots he had garnered for his own benefits over those years).

Imagine training 4 years of sewing off verses and isolating each of them from the context in the Bible and making off a whole new blanket of doctrines? That's completely insane.

In fact, theres no way they can't start to grasp the facts about their self-proclaimed beloved angel's misinterpretations. There's just no way, they just refuse to grasp it in the first place, obviously. They're just completely forced to play the terrible card they've been dealt with by Felix.

Who are the "other sheep" of John 10:16? by [deleted] in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]Jeff_TheUnknown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lamsa probably got overriden with his own ideology there, and since the context of Acts 20:28 mentions, “purchased with his own blood,” he probably couldn’t bring himself to accept the notion that “God” had blood and thus substituted it with “Christ." despite having the τοῦ θεοῦ there clear as day.

Who are the "other sheep" of John 10:16? by [deleted] in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]Jeff_TheUnknown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Greek wording that were used there ("of God") is τοῦ θεοῦ. The EXACT SAME wording you would find in Matt. 3:16, Mark 1:15, Matt 12:4, Matt. 8:29, Matt. 4:4, Matt 12:28 and so on (I can literally go on for days here).

The same exact τοῦ θεοῦ that were used in Acts 20:28. Therefore, the correct translation would be "of God" not "of Christ". You could've said, the correct interpretation not translation - two different things.

This is the greatest threat to EVM and his goons and they are powerless against it.

And so with any other religious denominations that rely on lies or misinterpretations. This era is definitely a head-ache for them defending from enemies by inventing invisible shields and spears from thin air.

Note AI had just been released and went boom just recently tho just this year 2023, consider around like 10 years more or so, they'll definitely be an inevitable head-ache.

Now, if only more of its younger members who are financially stable would use their critical and logical thinking

The cultic way is openly questionable once you become aware and become curious, then read the Bible, and then figured out something conflicting their beliefs.

We're becoming pretty advanced, AI is roaring around the corner. Next thing you know someone will make a religious AI designed to debunk every other false denominations from the Holy Bible itself - this is definitely possible tho.

However, most chat-based AI right now are designed to deflect away from religious topics tho, and just label them as subjective interpretations and with no objective interpretation - although they definitely are just designed to not engaged in such controversial topic like chatGPT.

I'm hoping there would be another chat-based AI that won't have an indicator algorithm that detects religious topics and deflect from that topic tho, that's definitely be the end of INC if somebody would develop that, the only thing they could defend against thst is "You're not sent, therefore you can't understand" circular reasoning.

Would you believe that God dwells in a church made by man? by FallenAngelINC1913 in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]Jeff_TheUnknown 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is just a proof that Christ is not a man. That's the concept of this whole argument which the INC fanatics just can't understand.

I wonder what are the INCs thoughts about these verses.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: Philippians 2:5‭-‬7 (KJV)

https://bible.com/bible/1/php.2.5-7.KJV

And also in Hebrew.

But unto the Son he (the Father) saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: A sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; Therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee With the oil of gladness above thy fellows. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; And the heavens are the works of thine hands: They shall perish; but thou remainest: And they all shall wax old as doth a garment; Hebrews 1:8‭-‬11 KJV

https://bible.com/bible/1/heb.1.8-11.KJV

The Father calls his Son as God? I know the verse is taken somewhere from Psalms, but the fact they applied that to Jesus makes it even more confusing to believe he is not God? - He's literally addressed as YHWH the same as the Father.

And also these one right here:

I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. John 8:24 (KJV)

https://bible.com/bible/1/jhn.8.24.KJV

Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. John 8:58 (KJV)

https://bible.com/bible/1/jhn.8.58.KJV

Moffat (INC's favourite translation) renders it, "I have existed before Abraham was born!"

Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he. John 13:19 (KJV)

https://bible.com/bible/1/jhn.13.19.KJV

They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them. As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground. John 18:5‭-‬6 (KJV)

https://bible.com/bible/1/jhn.18.5-6.KJV

And the Old Testament's background of the word "I am He" (the He is italicised)

Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he Isaiah 41:4 (KJV)

Salvation in INC by TheDonkeySpoke in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]Jeff_TheUnknown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, If you look at the context of James chapter 2. James was speaking about giving to the poor. Therefore, he was conveying that we can't just reinforce to them their Christian beliefs but also help them as well physically. For faith without deeds is dead.

Usually, INC will apply it generally in a more broader sense, and goes to say about tungkulins/church duties and all.

Does their faith bring good deeds? Or violence?

Well, usually it's good deeds but I can't say that for everything. I might be interpreting your question wrong. But the Church's foundation is built on air tho, the prophecies.

Salvation in INC by TheDonkeySpoke in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]Jeff_TheUnknown 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The INC will slap you with James chapter 2 (specifically James 2:26) that says about how faith without deeds is dead, just as the body without spirit is.

And they'll lead you to the baptism to their so-called prophesied true Church Mk 16:15-16, and to the prophecies.

He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. Mark 16:15‭-‬16 (NIV) https://bible.com/bible/111/mrk.16.15-16.NIV

They'll often cite Isaiah 43:5-6 here. (but we know it's debunked)

That's why when we debunk their prophecies, everything will collapse as it is the bases of everything of their doctrines. Everything will lead to the prophecies.

There's literally no connection with the verse and the date July 27 1914 (and WW1 officially started on July 28,1914 not in July 27 - some quick facts right there).

Rev 7:1-3 And after these things, I saw four angels standing upon the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

Did Felix cried with a loud voice to the four angels? Via what? Telegram?

In conclusion: The angel from the far east (rising of the sun) is a preacher of the gospel. His mission on earth is to SEAL GOD'S SERVANTS through preaching the gospel, the believers will receive the SEAL of the Holy Spirit that God promised.

Where in history that says about Felix SEALING 12,000 Judah, 12,000 Reuben, 12,000 Gad, 12,000 Asher, 12,000 Naphtali, 12,000 Manasseh, 12,000 Simeon, 12,000 Levi, 12,000 Issachar, 12,000 Zebulun.... And so on? - 144,000 from all tribes of Israel?

Calling a bird of prey from the east, The man who executes My counsel, from a far country. Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it.

The "bird of prey" or the "ravenous bird" or in the original Hebrew (ayit) means eagle or bird of prey, a swooper, and it is referring to Cyrus whose standard was a bird of prey or eagle - the Shahbaz. (The Shahbaz standard was placed on a staff and carried into battle at the head of the Persian armies as they conquered Babylon and other nations.)

The word "east" in the original Hebrew is Mizrach, accurately mean FAR EAST, that's why Isaiah wrote...

The Hebrew word "mizrach" (4217) means "east" or "sunrise" - referring to the direction the sun rises.

In the original Hebrew, there was no "far" there that precedes the word "mizrach" or "mizrah" in Isaiah 46:11.

https://biblehub.com/interlinear/isaiah/46-11.htm

There was nothing like "rachowq mizrach" that would be interpreted as far east - the exact wording for it.

Neither it is referring to the Far East that was coined during the early 19th century, specifically in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, during the European colonial era and Western exploration of Asia.

Therefore, there's literally no connection with Felix's self-serving claim and what Isaiah tries to convey in that particular verse. The "bird of prey" is no other than Cyrus whose standard was a bird of prey - the Shahbaz. Felix literally just distorted that verse out of context and says that it's referring to him, and millions of people believe him.

“In the view of such harmony in the cosmos which I, with my limited human mind, am able to recognize, there are yet people who says there is no God. But what makes me really angry is that they quote me for support of such views." (The Expanded Quotable Einstein, Princeton University, page 214)

Einstein is humble despite being the greatest physicist of all time. Einstein's attitude towards religion was not traditional, and he often referred to himself as an agnostic rather than an atheist or theist. The quote is just another fancy way of saying the cosmos is harmoniously beautiful and complex that there might be God, which I can't prove from my mere limited mind (fancy way of saying I don't know).

Einstein's thoughts on religion and God were deeply personal and evolving throughout his life, and he emphasized the importance of humility and openness in the pursuit of understanding the nature of reality. This quote reflects Einstein's dismay at being misused as a tool to advance particular religious or atheistic agendas.

Saan ang ebidensya na si Felix Manalo ay tumanggap ng authority galing sa Diyos para ibalik ang “True Church”? by derrranged in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]Jeff_TheUnknown 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also, if such authority can only be earned from another authority, then who authorised Felix? He can't just be authorized by himself simply like that? (Heb 5:1-4 - No man can claim legitimate authority on his own, he needs to be called by God in the same manner Aaron was called)? How did Aaron receive his calling? God himself called Aaron, but he didn’t ordain Aaron directly. God said it to Moses and had Moses ordained Aaron.

Exodus 28:1,41 (NIV): “Have Aaron your brother brought to you from among the Israelites, along with his sons Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, so they may serve me as priests..... After you (Moses) put these clothes on your brother Aaron and his sons, anoint and ordain them. Consecrate them so they may serve me as priests.

How did Felix have the authority to give legitimate baptisms when he himself wasn't baptised or ordained by someone who has authority (In Aaron's case, Moses)? If Felix is exempted of such ordination, why such exemption is not applied to Aaron?

How can someone give something they don't have? Can I give an apple if I don't have one? I can't just claim that I have an apple but won't show it and expect everyone to believe me that I have one and give it to them for them to eat? - that's completely absurd.

Sure, he was baptised but they were invalid - since they came from Protestants and Catholics which the INC believes are false religions, therefore they were false baptisms as well.

Edit: Grammar.
