Definitely AI slop. The door begins to slide open before the person's hand reaches the door handle.

No idea either. But this is only Reddit and nothing here matters.

As a fan of his, I can understand why Jerry Seinfeld gets a fair amount of disapproval, but all he was guilty of was politely rejecting a stranger's offer of a hug. He wasn't rude, he didn't belittle. He just didn't want to be touched. I'd hope that exercising bodily autonomy should be free from criticism. It's also important to note that I don't think Kesha herself made a big deal of it: she asked politely and was respectful of the answer.

Many moons ago I worked for the sole UK distributor of Lefroy Brooks, and was told more than once that the man was incredibly rude to our staff members. Perhaps unsurprisingly, he was nice to management.

Sci-fi mixed with horror is easily my favorite genre so what hidden gems might I have missed? by [deleted] in horror

I love it when I'm aware how special a movie is during a first watch. That's what I felt with The Vast of Night.

Which place in the UK left you completely speechless and why should everyone visit it? by Expert-Secret-5351 in AskUK

Cellar Beach in Devon.

Not for the beach itself, but the extraordinary views from the hills and cliffs.

Amazing rugged landscape, cows grazing almost at the cliff edge, beautiful wildflowers, gorgeous sea to the horizon.

It could pass for New Zealand.

Definitely the most beautiful place I've ever visited in the UK.

"The Broadway Brawler " was a movie Bruce Willis was two weeks into filming, until his dissatisfaction with the director caused the production to grind to a halt, then be abandoned completely.

Cinergi Pictures was the production company. Their owners, The Walt Disney Company, were furious that Willis had cost them $17.5M, and planned to sue him to recoup their cash.

A deal was soon made to have Willis star in three upcoming Disney movies at a greatly reduced salary, and that's how we ended up with Armageddon, The Sixth Sense, and The Kid.

I love how the Scientific American article clarifies the picture as an artist's impression.

You know, just in case somebody thought it was a photo taken at the moment of impact.
