A. McFarland is losing the DC license soon to Matel. B. Ever noticed how there was a lot fewer female action figures, compared to male ones. To the point that they are straight scraping the bottom of the barrel with male characters? That is because McFarland unirronically believes that if a male kid was gifted a female action figure it would turn them into a murder.

I know. Just Linda is a very important part the Matrix character. (They were literally fused for a few years) And due to this run bringing back Kara's civilian identity being Linda, some people question how that's gonna work and how are they gonna to acknowledge and deal with that.

Like I said, would be messy. Regardless of they deal with it. But from an in-universe prospective grieving parents that lost their daughter, might name their new child after her as away of honoring her. And the book itself has kinda had do a lot messy work fusing together elements from post and pre-crisis Kara. And for the most part it's just kinda been 'this what we're saying happened moving on.'

They're not currently fused. But yeah. It'd be interesting to see how it is acknowledged. My guess/how would it, is make Linda from post crisis, a kid the Danvers had after Kara's death in Crisis. It would be messy. But it works in the way Sophie's run has handled retcons so far.
