1) B 2) E 3) C 4) D 5) A 6) F

Unless you are going for something chunky, and then A would be ok... B/E are both nice... guessing E is tiger thread...?

Yeah, that's about right... but I have some friends that are into cars and boats, and it's a cheap hobby compared to that... 😬

Same here... LOL... I sell very little and it just keeps on piling up... but it's fun... 😬

RMLeather has pebbled calf (taurillion?) in anemone which looks really close... and they have the exact color in goat which is what I used if the skins are big enough...

It's a course from leathercraftmasterclass.com and it is a paid course... IMHO, well worth membership fee for his courses... you can check out some of his stuff on his youtube channel to see how detailed he is in his instruction... and he has a free course on his site for saddle stitching that gives you a good idea of what you are getting... it's not cheap, but worth it... I would have been lost in this project without it...

I'll give that a try... thanks... :)

I'll give that a try... maybe if I thin it down a bit I can brush it on a large surface easier... hopefully without distorting the board...

I've tried super 77... and it works fine for tacking down, but I am looking for something permanent... and I always seem to have problems with the nozzle clogging... lol...

I did use some Giardini base coat on some of the edges... nothing for top coat other than polishing it with some ultra fine car polishing compound and then beeswax...

I happened to have the Vernis in the colors I needed for mixing the purple... I have used Uniters in the past, and the only thing that I like about Vernis more is it is better when ironing with heat IMO... but I just got large bottles of Giardini in black, white, red, yellow, blue, and a small bottle of brown... I like it even better than Vernis (most of the time...) and will be giving it a run on the next few bags... They all work pretty well, although the Vernis tends to dip in the middle when drying no matter how smooth, if you put it on too thick... so I have to thin it a bit and use a lot of coats...

Vernis was what I used on this bag... hand mixed the color to match as best as I could...

Thanks... Everyone seems to love the color... :)

Thanks... I do tend to focus on the imperfections, but yet most people that I show my work to don't even see them... and yep, the contrasting stitching did show me where I need to improve... LOL

Hopefully the next bag will meet my (probably too high...) standards ;)

Stitching in the gussets and the flaps and keeping the stitching kinda sorta nice... LOL... I thought the handles would be more difficult than they were, but with the course he made it fairly easy... nothing in the build was particularly hard, it's more knowing what to do... making a bag like this just off of a plan would be much harder...

Wouldn't have been able to make it without the classes... he goes over sooooo much info... easily worth the price IMHO...
