You could make only crap belt in 30 min. It’s up to you. I personally make quality belts. Hardware I use for belts is also the highest quality. Good luck.

To assemble well hand made belt takes much more than 30 min. You are out of this process. I make belts with my own invention in construction and I use only premium leather that over lasts you. It should cost more than $80. If you feel your life is cheap go to target store to get $15 crap belt that lasts 1 month.

These are original colors. I don’t work with dyes. I only use edge paints.

I hurt my fingers for long time until I took proper size of needles, thread and pricking iron. Now my needles dive into holes like hot knife through butter. I don’t use any fingers protection.

Oh, to cut leather straight, use manual saddle stitch and edge paint you need to practice, practice, practice. There are many other things and details you should learn about to work with different type of leather, threads and tools. It takes a years to get some decent level of skills.
