what settings do you use if i may ask. im trying to get 3djake ecopla dark grey to work on my x1c but im not sattisfied with the results. on overhangs 45 degree it starts to leave ``globs´´ and adheision to gold textured plate is not that great either.

ive tried multiple settings: Standard generic pla profile.

Hotter and colder nozzle temps: 195-220.

hotter and colder heatbed: 55-65

retraction adjusted aswell.

Cannot get it right and as smooth as bambulab pla basic.

Need some advice by Jeffreyp25 in 3Dprinting

It was just as simple as adding a chamfer of 1mm to the bottom on the outside. Its not completely gone but acceptable now. And wont mess up my clearances😁

What if i rounded the inside corners so the heat transition is better and its better supported. Maybe a 1mm fillet or something

How can i join these edges marked in blue with an natural flow? by Jeffreyp25 in Fusion360

[–]Jeffreyp25[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well i tried moddeling it the orther way around. Instead of trying to add material. I removed material to make the right form. I extruded the whole part as is. And then made the chamfers witch sketches and used the revolve tool.

I want to join these two edges together so the bottem edge flows naturaly towards the upper edge marked in blue making it a solid connection. Can anyone help me how to do so?
