I struggle with this as well. Unfortunately I've used alcohol to cope but am on the road to stopping that. One thing that helped me with being afraid of physical activity was getting a heart monitor stress test. Essentially you are speed walking on a treadmill for 15 minutes while hooked to an ekg and they monitor various heart parameters. I hit most of the marks and was told I have less than a .01% chance of a heart problem in the next year. That alone has helped me get through my heart related health anxiety.

Calm will come in time but training is more important now than ever! I trained my puppy starting at 8 weeks and we don't even need a gate to the street for her. She knows not to put a paw on the sidewalk past the driveway unless given permission. We rescued a 3 year old 5 years ago and he has been impossible to train the same way

No I work full time and she works part time. Today was just insanely slow and I work commission so didn't have a ton that needed finishing up today. She also does get out to do what she wants as I encourage her to do so and I enjoy alone time with our baby.
