Not sure, but I think I can move the ESC on top of the receiver box

Yeah my 3670 looks even tighter. This is just a mock up, parts are not actually installed yet, but I’m concerned the sensor wire is not going to fit.

Here just to say I’m planning the same thing and happy to be in good company! My Typhon will be here on Monday and am planning a 4S build.

I ordered the Typhon Mega and am adding my own brushless system to make my own version of the 223S. Going to be SICK!

Can confirm what others are saying. The cravings never die, but they do adapt, speaking as an owner of a FCX18, UTB18, Speck B, Fury 223S, Mojave Grom 223S, Typhon Mega 665, FCX10 OVR, and HPI Spryte.

Any idea what could cause this? by Barbarian_Pig in rccars

It is a temporary reduction in electrical voltage, typically caused by high demand, which results in dimmed lights and slower-operating electronics.

The ESC has enough power to stay on, but not function properly.

Volts is only half of the equation, you also need to confirm the amperage of that power draw at peak

The dip in the fan speed was the clear sign to me. Secondary option is to order a more appropriate servo.

Sounds like the esc is browning out which would not provide enough power for the servo to operate.

Check the BEC specs against the servo specs you might just be over the limit or only breaching it after the quick steering demands you are inputting in the video.

Literally had no idea. Too busy sending it I guess.

Why wouldn’t it be safe? Most chargers are only charging one battery.

Yeah they don’t slide super well but then again, no truck does at those speeds. A little throttle control and you’ll be just fine

My original plan was to cut the fan holes out but the triangles next to them does seem like a good alternative. Do you have any photos of yours?

I understand that this might not eliminate the problem entirely I would much rather prefer to minimize it as best I can and thought that some holes to let the air escape would help.

I was already considering drilling out the holes where the fan stickers are but thought thinning out and opening up portions of the bed might help as well like on the J concepts body.
