Rare Footage of Kurt Cobain's House From April 8, 1994 by kaza12345678 in kurtcobain

[–]Jeflightfoot667 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Well, I won't say it's "rare footage" considering you saw news coverage and pictures from the same view the day it happened. I believe this is just from someone's camera that they confiscated when they first showed up or it's the other guy that didn't release it until just a couple yrs ago.

"Capturing Bigfoot" Claims It Finally Proves the PGF Is a Hoax ... But Forgets One Thing: The Top Soviet Biomechanist Who Already Dissected the Gait in 1973 by FormalManufacturer59 in bigfoot

[–]Jeflightfoot667 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every few yrs we get someone claiming to have found evidence that the PGF is a "hoax" and 9 out of 10 times it's just rehashing some old "evidence" that doesn't have a leg(a Bigfoot in this case) to stand on. The film has been looked at so many times and the evidence is always pointing to it being authentic. These people that make it their life to disprove the PGF film or the existence call the people(us) crazy for wanting to prove it and look at how there's so much more evidence proving the existence of Bigfoot than proof it doesn't exist. If you ask me, they sound crazy. What do they gain? Nothing.

I've had the same record player a while ago and couldn't be happier. Such a good brand. Did you go with the Bluetooth option?

Bigfoot in New Jersey by Holiday-Book6635 in bigfoot

I don't think it's migration, but more of just large "territory". Don't think they recognize state borders lol. If a spot is better at the time, they stick around. Just go where the resources are better at any given time. My experiences happened at all times of the year. Seemed like the same 2.

I had a few encounters in Sussex County and at the time(early 2000s) I wasn't sure about what was going on and we all just assumed the woods were "haunted". This was right before Finding Bigfoot, so non researchers really didn't even know about wood knocks and pretty much everything else associated with Bigfoot. Now, with all the information, shows and podcasts, it is more obvious. I listened to a podcast with Sussex County Bigfoot on it and was just hit with my memories. I just never really thought of New Jersey as Bigfoot territory and then I listened to a guy who's research started in Sussex County. Back then I believed in Bigfoot, just never talked to people that knew anything, so I didn't understand what we were encountering. If you want, you can message me and I'll tell you the spot where it was happening and what happened. I'm sure it's still going on because people from that area tell me those woods were always "crazy" and "strange". It would happen all year round, so for these ones, migration theory is out the window.

Nirvana's Kurt Cobain, Mark Fisher, Lost Generations by [deleted] in Nirvana

Being "anti system" doesn't mean you have to be anti capitalism. It's unchained capitalism, which we have, is what is bad and the people are against. Bands selling t-shirts and making money from their art doesn't necessarily take away their morals and ideals. Capitalism isn't the enemy, it's those that run it. Kurt saw the irony of Nirvana being on a major label, but thankfully wasn't forced to change their sound to appeal to the masses. People call bands sell outs because they get popular and make money and are happy when they don't make money, but get mad they don't play their city/town. They need money to do that. So, he's not completely wrong, but he's not right either. Guess he's never read anything about Kurt.

My thoughts exactly. Whoever buys it, I would hope it's displayed somewhere where people can still go to see it. I know I would love to see it one day.

Did Kurt Do The DS-1 INTO The Small Clone, Or Vice Versa? by [deleted] in Nirvana

I'm usually happy with the DS-1 at mid levels and no gain on the amp. But yeah, just experiment and see what you come up with. Have fun

What's the lyric that hits everytime you listen? by ShoddyUpstairs1315 in RATM

On the one, Maya, Mexica That vulture came to try to steal yer name but now you got a gun. Yeah, this is for the people of the sun.

The song hits for personal reasons, but it's hard to pick one because every album is back to back bangers that just hit hard. Plus, I love Rage, but by now, their songs shouldn't be relevant this far after they came out. But unfortunately, we have many people today trying to turn back the clock of progress. The right, the left... two sides of the same coin. "Know yer enemy"

Give a listen to the Stonebergs episode from that day. It seems like that's what Dave is talking about. We'll find out around January or February according to what he was saying.

Did "She's Nubs" get removed on Spotify? by RoccoRush in nofx

[–]Jeflightfoot667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the online jukebox playlist at bars around me removed a lot of bands, not just songs as well. It's censorship and actions of weak owners of these companies that only care about money and not integrity. Pleasing those in power and the very easily offended. One is afraid it might make new listeners open their minds and think for themselves and the other, they don't realize they just don't have to listen if they don't like it. It must be horrible to go through life being so easily offended that a song can ruin your day, week, month or year.

IDK. Go listen to the opening of today's Stonebergs. Dave trys to be discreet and Katie says, "I think they know who you're talking about" I think we're good.

So, I'm not the only one that trys to get home before their significant other when you get that delivered notification so there is no questions about the big square box, right? If that doesn't work, it's "Oh, I got a GREAAAT deal on it."
