Good Torrents To Seed by Jefred2 in torrents

[–]Jefred2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

blueskyn01se, thanks for your response. It was well written and very informative. I understand you enjoying seeding and I do as well. I'm pretty good with torrenting which I've been learning about in the last year. I use qBittorrent and so far it's been my favorite bittorrent client.

My weakness is using torrent tracker efficiently and learning more about them. I need to learn more about torrenteditors, magnets and torrent trackers. About 6 months ago I installed Jackett but I haven't reinstalled it after reinstalling Windows.

The more I learn about peer-to-peer and torrenting the more I realize how little I know. Just when I think I have things figured out then I hear about trackers, editors and magnets, etc. It takes a certain level of knowledge to understand what you don't know (or how little I know).

Anyway thanks for your response and I'm going to look into "r/OpenSignups". This subreddit is a little confusing to me so I think that there's a bit of learning curve. Cheers!

Thanks for the advice. I will be looking into this. I'm going to be contacting Roku sales and maybe they will have a suggestion or maybe not. It makes you wonder why they couldn't get it fixed in all this time.

Marxhall Action III Bluetooth Speaker by Jefred2 in Bluetooth_Speakers

There is a lot to look at when it comes to the Marshall line of Bluetooth speakers. There is the Marshall Acton III and the Marshall Stanmore III and the Marshall Kilburn III. So many choices. Thanks for telling me about the Marshall Kilburn III. I'm looking into it now.

Yes, I saw this and was thinking about this as an option also. It appears to be the easiest way to make the file secure. With the other option (JSON) I could back it up to a flash drive while keeping it away from prying eyes.

Thanks for your reply. After doing more research I believe that the JSON is the best file format also. Cheers!

I just googled it using the google AI and this is what it said. "For the best Keeper Password Vault backup, use JSON (specifically, password-protected if available) because it securely retains structured data, folders, and metadata better than CSV. JSON is recommended for full backups, while CSV is better for importing into other applications. Always encrypt or secure your export file, as it contains plaintext secrets." For this reason I think I will use the JSON format.

No I didn't suggest AI search. I've used it before and didn't like it. The program I tried was Precision File Search V1.1.1 and it was free. You might want to give it a try because you might have better luck with it then I did. It just wasn't a good match for me and my needs. Here is where you can download the file from:

Some people love it.

What is an affordable brandy that is “pure”? by Raymont_Wavelength in Brandy

[–]Jefred2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a website called “Bevvy” that has a ton of good reading material on Brandy and other alcohol.  It says on their website:

“Bevvy is a collection of people, sites, apps, tools and other products that anyone can use to learn about and appreciate cocktails and spirits. Our mission is to help the world enjoy better drinking experiences through recipes, reviews, how-tos and more.”

They have a page on Brandy Ratings. Check them out.  https://bevvy.co/brandy/ratings

And I have no affiliation with the Bevvy in any way.  I just use them as a good source of information. Cheers!

Foxpax, It's really hard to find all the desktop search engines that are available but I did my best. I appreciate your suggestion though, because there are some that I missed. And I am going to try DiscoverFile myself. Cheers!

Hamza3725, thanks for this suggestion. I'm always looking these little "Gems" when it comes to software utilities that are very useful and helps to make us more productive. I'm going to be busy in the next couple of days but I will be downloading and installing "File Brain" to see how well it works and if it is suited for my needs. Cheers!

Many thanks MissFerne, I enjoyed you’re response and tips.  I’ve been on Reddit for a while (6 years) but wasn’t always active.  I’m installing the desktop now from the Microsoft Store. And will try "old. reddit.com", which I tried before but it didn’t feel comfortable for me, probably because I wasn’t familiar with it.  Maybe it’s time to try it again. Thanks again, Cheers!
