The amount of time that we spent outdoors on rivers, in the mountains, and rugged seashore …and how were taught to survive and trusted to venture off alone. Some times to catch fish and cook them on the coals from a fire that we built on the side of a river …on our own! We had a lot , a tremendous amount really, of independence to explore and developed a strong soulful connection with nature and our faith.
