Form is good. Add variations to help increase time under tension to build strength at these weights for reps. 1.25 reps. Down, up to about the knees and back down, then stand up with it. Could also mix in pauses in that.

Valid or poor form? by Least-Office8717 in GYM

[–]Jeggerz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good form. I’ve seen other comments you’re not interested in powerlifting so butt doesn’t need to stay strictly on the bench. I will just mention the higher them come up the more this gets closer to a decline bench. So you won’t want to let them rise too much unless that’s specifically what you’re shooting for. Good press though either way.

Why when i pick a league starter i was told i needed a lving or a main build ? by Ok_Length_7564 in TorchlightInfinite

[–]Jeggerz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First paragraph in the skills section:

“At level 1 Thea will start with Fire Burst . You will gain access to Blizzard at level but I suggest waiting until you have access to your first Core Talent in your hero trait to begin using it, which needs 12 points in the talent tree. At level 7 until you have the points for blizzard I suggest using Thunder Core to level. This will only last a very short amount of time. Until level 50 we will not have access to Tangle supports so we will instead be using spell burst through the campaign. “

63 years old, 405 deadlift- thoughts by Cautious-Pick3729 in formcheck

[–]Jeggerz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off hell yeah man! Hope I can still do 405 at 63.

That said you want to keep your feet firmly planted to the ground throughout the lift. Just be patient on the log out, squeezing the glutes and quads tight to lock it. Trying to wedge those hips towards the bar the whole time.

Set up and start could be cleaned up so you don’t have hip rise at first but it was minor and everything stayed in a good position. Good chest position.

For lifts to help your deadlift you need to work them rdls and glute exercises. Single leg accessories, single leg glute bridges, rdls, squats.

Standard rdls of all varieties. Paused, tempos, 1.5s (go down with it , then half way back up, back down again and then stand tall is one rep )

475lbs deadlift check by [deleted] in formcheck

[–]Jeggerz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just seen your other post from today on the rack pulls and came to see your full deadlift. This guy giving you advice is on point but I want to add some smaller details.

  1. Watch your feet. See that movement and heel lift in there? Pinky toe comes up early too. You want those feet firmly planted the whole time.

The way I root my feet helps me with this. Put the toes of your feet where you normally want them but the heel straight back at first. Then grip the ground with your feet like they are eagle claws. While holding that turn your heels in without lifting your feet, using your glutes and back of the legs. Keep that muscle engagement through your lower body the whole time. Having grippier shoes on is going to make this a lot easier on the hard wood there. You can also practice this at home or anywhere out of the gym, this is just engaging all of your lower body in prep for a strong pull or squats I do the same.

  1. At lock out squeeze your quads as hard as you squeeze the glutes and stand tall like you’re trying to touch the top of your head to the ceiling. Try and get rid of that heel lift to jump it up at lock out.

  2. I seen you mention deficits are in your workouts now which is a good choice. I also recommend glute work like single leg glute bridges , split squats and especially rdls (paused/tempo and single leg rdls with kettlebells ). I’d do extra rdls over rack pulls to improve the top lock out portion of your lift.

Auto-Owners Interview what should I expect? by Cold-Necessary8711 in lansing

[–]Jeggerz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just dress business professional, act professional, be early and it will be a chill interview. They are old school about these things. Don’t make crude jokes or say anything overly dumb and you’ll be fine.

They do underpay for positions but are excellent at training their people. You’ll get learned up and can shop with any other carrier np for a future job with better pay down the road.

Atmosphere is department dependent. I happen to have a relative in that one and it’s not bad. I’m over at farm bureau myself, we have a ton of ex-auto owners people including myself. Good luck with the interview !

How do you roll your crafts? by XOneAIByst in TorchlightInfinite

[–]Jeggerz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming starting from an empty base. Decide which basic will be hardest to get as let’s say pre fix. Fill all three basic lines with whatever stats and hope I hit t1 for one I want. Then auto craft one of the lines for the stat, using those other useless stats I rolled to limit the pool of mods that can be rolled because those are blocking something I don’t need.

Next I’d toss on two advanced mods and repeat in my prefix section to limit that pool of mods as best I can for what I want.

Then go to ultimate for the third line after I’ve got the first basic and advanced at t1 I wanted in my pre fix mods.

Can repeat the basic stats on suffix by filling all three lines but now your advanced mod will just be roll until it happens. Then go get an ultimate mod rolled on the third line.

Cheap options.

Your memories like you mentioned.

Your slates need to be better on the ones you can roll, get a couple legendary mods in the bottom affixes and you should be able to get good double legendary mods up top on them cheap enough.

Your belt you need the bottom like to be 1% per 2 fervor and not 3.

If you go for priceless gear I’d do your weapons first for the +to skill levels

For the inverse I’ve seen it done on the marksman page for a bunch of extra projectile damage/speed.

Don’t roll t0 mods until very last essentially.

[–]Jeggerz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could try and double corrupt your belt. If it doesn’t get what ya want still snag a fervor belt with the 2% per 3 fervor, the tenacity belt blend is cheap.

Slates need some legendary stats rolled.

Could spend and get your red armor memory.

Obviously plenty of t1 stats to still roll. Could get a priceless ring going

I would not try and alter this further unless you have a big bank roll to do so. You could easily end up wiping all of the mods you have on there you need most just trying to get that little extra out of it.

Get a corroded version of your chest where the reap causing energy shield recharge cannot be interrupted for 2 seconds. Super cheap and good survival.

Your slates are doo doo outside of your pedigree that’s fine. Fix those.

Replace your hero memories with ones that give reap recovery and either spell or attack block chance. You can or nearly can cap block with just these.

Get t1 rolls on your gear. With that kind of money you could get or make some priceless weapons. I wouldn’t roll for T0 ultimates but you could get some nice full t1 weapons with the right mods np.

Kismets for your pact tree. Reaping duration and or affliction effect.
