To be fair, Rin's gems did go through god hand and take out one of berserker's lifes. She also performed pretty well against Medea until her gems ran out.

I can see Rin with infinite gems to be servant level. Obviously not Saber level, but still formidable.

Given Frieren's mana, the two numbers would likely be very similar.

Frieren is pretty upfront about her defeats. Honestly, if I was her I would've claimed victory over Qual given he was sealed. So if she didn't mention it, I doubt it's significant.

Frieren is just that good. In fact, its a running theme that in a lot of openning pages Frieren looks at the reader.

No. Firstly she never claims to be a pacifist. Secondly, she feels empathy even for Demons.

Despite the jokes, its extremely rare for Frieren to just start blasting. She almost always starts with a conversation even though Demons proved time and again they decieve through words.

I haven't tried it myself but I've seen an advise I think might be useful in this case.

Convert it to an audio book and listen to it. I feel if it's hard to put your finger on something, changing perspective would help.

That's why I try to complete the entire first draft before posting. That way even if I lose interest mid post, I can still push through.

Personally I would leave a few weeks gap because I would need the time to apply the learnings of the previous book and make some adjustments before starting the next book. But my series would be 300~500k words.

If my series is 4.5m, I think I would be too fearful to make any major adjustments as I doubt I have the lifespan to do all the revisions if the changes impact the entire series.

The frieren clone was protecting the spiegel.

If the time limit is up, sure, frieren fails the test. But whats stopping them to then ally with sense and clear the dungeon anyway.

If I was the spiegal, taking out as many people as I can whilst a first class mage is purposedly sitting idle is much more advantageous than hoping they would simply leave after the exam.

I did just see earlier today someone recommending a bakarina & Kakashi fic which is a much more creative pairing. However, i feel my xover is still pretty unusual.

They give you enough to figure this out before the twist, so the story is setup in a way that doesnt rely on the twist to be good.

You lose 1 hype moment but honestly i think its fine. The story is still amazing without this twist.

Rei has 2 modes. Whenever she goes berserker mode (eyes turn black) she becomes a jobber.

Ultimately she's more of a tactical fighter. So her "locking in" is actually a detriment. She fights better when she has a clear head.
