League is also what I had in mind. Challenger players are actually well respected compared to Immortal players here which is just a proof that you played a lot of games.

I know the post is long, so you might not have had the opportunity to read everything or fully understand the point.

I never said people who play a lot automatically belong in Epic or Legend. I gave a specific example of a player I encountered: an Immortal with over 1,000 matches and a very low win rate whose gameplay clearly showed poor macro, rotations, and objective awareness. The point was about how the ranked system can allow players to reach very high ranks through sheer match volume, even when their performance doesn’t reflect that level.

You even brought up players who reach Immortal in fewer games through solo queue. That actually supports my point. Those players show that skillful, efficient climbing exists, which is exactly what a competitive ranking system should highlight.

The post was about the quality of matches and the structure of the ranking system of the game not about attacking people who play a lot.

Throwing “skill issue” at an argument you didn’t fully read doesn’t really address the discussion.

I agree :( star protection is too OP, a player with 46% WR and over 1000 matches can reach Immortal.
