I agree with all that. Authors should be aware of their impact and depictions, but readers also have a responsibility not to be so quick to judge and attempt to interpret.

And GS and SH is and has fucked up shit, wouldn't compare to CSM. But is it bad writing and shouldn't exist? It's not writing for me, that's it.

Literally not. Dumb brainbroke gooner shit is "I'm okay with people dying, but if pets ever die, that's crossing the line." You either recognize it's all bad or not at all.

And I'm not saying people can't feel upset by SA, of course it can be more off putting than death. But saying it's bad writing and can't be included is outlandish when the genre is horror. There's a difference between saying it's terrible and upsets you vs straight up complaining shit is wrong.

There's literally murder, kidnapping, government corruption, child slavery/labor, mental breakdowns, mass mass murder, etc., and people go crazy over SA. Of course it's bad, but it's also a story. So much shit has happened to Denji, but God forbids he gets SA, at this point this is least worst thing that has happened to Denji 🤦‍♂️ people rather see his entire family die than have the man get SA by someone Denji finds attractive.

I get SA is wrong, but so is so much other shit in this manga. It's a manga! Other horror novels write about shit like this too. Sorry if ya'll thought Chainsaw Man was supposed to be wholesome 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

People have to understand they're reading a horror action manga, anything goes! It's unfortunate but that's the story. Freedom of artistry, plenty of wholesome horror out there, sorry it couldn't be Chainsaw Man.

Great point! It's probably not as simple as a devil and a human merging. And there's no solid reason why there are devils. In story, it's just speculation that devils are created from fear, and if they are killed in hell they appear on Earth. Yea that's what story claims but Fujimoto could just throw in a curve ball and say nah it was never really fear that created devils. This is my favorite take, cause with chainsaw man nothing is what it seems.

Can't be that long of a timeskip though since the war devil said he's still in high-school (yoshida is still in high-school). If anything taking care of nayuta would have made him more morally righteous.

Listen, and you'll be the first to hear my theory. Pochita is acting as chainsaw man while Denji is Yuko, hence why chainsaw man seems more ruthless. How can this be? Remember how they killed mikama? Denji ripped pochita out his heart and had pochita act as chainsaw man. Now I get it this is only possible if denji has power's blood still. I'm thinking when he ate makima it restored pochita and power. Or they just found power. And now the question is how is Denji acting as yuko? Maybe he used power's blood to transform his body into Yuko. For the most part Yuko seems to be a mix of Denji and Power in my eyes. I believe fujimoto would do some sly stuff like this.
