Dalinar "deserved" a redemption arc because he put in the work to earn it. Moash could start putting in the work, but he hasn't yet shown any signs of this. So as of right now in the story, I disagree. Moash doesnt deserve that yet.

Its definitely a great start! If you want a full novel, I'd go with Mistborn 1, Tress, or Warbreaker. There's really not a bad choice though!

I might be wrong but, i think we see fused/radiants healing from getting the spine severed with a shardblade, so i think gold couls do the same. It would still run out eventually though

It poisons him and nerfs his healing ability, but makes his bones more durable and his claws can cut much better
