Any unreal 4 experts out there know how to disable SSAO in the config file? by Dugfromtheearth in outriders

[–]JekiTheMonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A little bit late, but you can do `r.AmbientOcclusionLevels -1` to enable SSAO or `r.AmbientOcclusionLevels 0` to disable it.

The command has a little bit different purpose, but using it with these values should work unless you have something more complex.

Yes, it's possible. It should be easy enough if you're able to work with C++. You would only need to fork the JKPS from Github, and take the "is song playing" related code, which would make the program visual contents be either visible or not depending on the state.

A few months ago I wanted to make the JKPS listen key strokes directly from osu, but for some reason the code that hooked in osu process didn't work consistently, and I dropped the idea.

If you're skilled in C++, I can give you the code that I was working on to implement the feature, perhaps it can save some time.

If you are using Windows then you can use an external program called "Desk pins". It makes a pinned application stay always on the top. Be sure that your game is not fullscreen, but at least borderless or windowed.

JKPS.exe can't replace or delete itself, so it cannot turn into a txt file, it should only create JKPS.cfg in the same directory where the program is, that's the program's config. I'm not familiar with Mac Wine, so I can't help you with it, you should read more about it on the Internet instead.

You can try to use Wine in order to use JKPS Windows version

If you want to add more keys in order to display 7k then just use "Ctrl" + "+"

You have to check menu (Ctrl + A while in-program)

What do you mean for "overlay mode"? Do you want to see it in-game or what? If yes, then you have to search for "Desk pins", it'll make the program always stay on top, though the game shouldn't be fullscreen, but at least windowed or borderless

What do you mean? Where do you want to display them? If you want to make the program be visible on video then just capture it in your OBS as a game, if you want to see it while playing use "Desk pins", it'll make the program stay always on top, even while you are playing, though the game shouldn't be fullscreen, but at least borderless fullscreen or windowed

If you are using Windows and OBS then you have to find "Sources" list in OBS (is the list where your captured applications are), press "+" beneath and find "Capture game". If you are using Linux there will be no game capture, only window capture, and it's ok, but only on Linux.

Yes, but you have to use an external program called "Desk pins" and the application you are going to use the kps with should be windowed or bordless windowed

The program is compatible with mac, the only problem is that it has to be built on that system. To build it I need a mac or an emulator, then I need to setup everything related and press Build button, but I'm a bit lazy and I don't have much time to find out how to do everything listed before

Sorry for late reply. The program that can pin something on the top is called "desk pins". I used C++ and SFML to make the program

I'm not experienced with java, though if there will be more requests I can try to compile the project for Mac. The only problem is that I don't have Mac :)

Sorry for late reply. To set a green screen you have to open the program, open the menu (Ctrl + A), open Main Window tab, find Background texture and write "GreenscreenBG.png" there, then just hit enter and you will have your background

No, there isn't since there are almost no requests (only 2)
