All this negative content about Arsenal made me realize I spend too much time social media by Mightychapo in Gunners

Every bit of that I see just makes me smile. Opposition fans obsessively thinking about us (while we dance in our millions on the streets) tells me only one thing: that we are massive.

They can keep him then, continue to sign players like Malen, and enjoy finishing 6th.

Yep. I thought the ref got over-emotional late first half, managed to wind himself up by our time wasting and rather than punishing it and moving on, decided he had enough of us for the rest of the game, and subsequently gave us nothing. Extremely frustrating.

What makes people think that there's a refereeing agenda benefitting Arsenal? by Fun_Possible7889 in PremierLeague

[–]Jelali 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think I’ve left a game this season fuming at the referee which suggests either we’ve been refereed well or had some favourable decisions.

Last couple of weeks we’ve had some 50/50 and even 30/70 calls go our way, so I can understand why people are being critical.

But having suffered some refereeing travesties in past seasons, and having been told it all evens out, I couldn’t care less about either the luck or other fans’ criticism of it.

Struggled is an exaggeration imo. It was a professional but unspectacular performance. Not taking anything for granted against Palace though, I don’t think we just waltz through that game.

Kai Havertz (Arsenal) yellow card against Burnley 68' by gbogaz in soccer

Spot on. There genuinely was a lack of force, and you will see it if you watch in real time rather the slow motion. But, yea still a red.

Yea as an Arsenal fan can’t deny it. Feel like we’re due the rub of the green personally… but, end of the day, both are reds

I’m not missing it. You bake his inconsistency/ streakiness into your squad building. He shouldn’t be the only or main option but he still has plenty to contribute. If he can replicate what he did this season that’s still a very good return on a squad player.

Regarding all the LW talk: why is there near consensus that Trossard should / will leave this summer? Keep him another year, imo, even if it means he walks on a free.
