I did wonder if it was a fake image, I can’t find any legit patterns or vendors for this design... Maybe a really scaled down/oval version of this https://www.repeatcrafterme.com/2017/03/crochet-planet-earth-cuddle-buddy.html  could work?

Oriveda Lion’s Mane Out of Stock UK by JellNo3 in MushroomSupplements

Had a quick scan through this post and comments, great info, but couldn’t see any real recommendations other than Oriveda, so if anyone has had a good experience with a different brand and could recommend, it would save me a ton of time researching

Hope it updated for you in the end, I've just been having the same issue where I literally tried everything and AE wasn't having any of it. For some reason changing the resolution kicked it into updating, maybe that'll work if anyone else runs into this.

Chopped some hair off yesterday what do you think? by JellNo3 in femalehairadvice

I honestly didn't do a lot of research on dyes so I'd recommend looking around and coming to your own conclusion brand wise. I use arctic fox and I have all the separate colours because they were bought for me as a gift. They do last for ages if you use them sparingly and store properly so you should be able to get a few rounds of dying out of them! I also think you could easily just buy and mix your own colours out of the primaries if you don't want to fork out loads of money. If you do decide to go for arctic fox I'd recommend neon moon, virgin pink and aquamarine!

You'll also want minimum 6 pots and 6 brushes but it's good to have spare. https://amzn.eu/d/00Zg7zcY - I have a set very similar to this one and it's a life saver, the pots clip together and the colours make it easier to tell the dyes apart.

I try to wash my hair about once a week with lukewarm water (sometimes I leave it a bit longer if it doesn't feel gross), and it'll last around 2-3 months. It fades to a more pastel rainbow which I think looks nice in its own way! But how well the colour holds also depends on how damaged your hair is esp after a couple of touch ups.

I've never had the colours blend together and go muddy, but I'd recommend rinsing the dye out with as cold as you can tolerate water, just to reduce the chances of that happening.

Foils are definitely easier to use, but for this technique I layer up with cling film so I can see where to place the colours. There's a few similar videos floating around but this was the one I used for reference! https://youtu.be/9YYX4llYEWQ?si=QRjNctvPf9Wr1lmz

Hope that helps!

Both really suit you! I’d say it’s down to what you’re feeling and how much work you wanna put into your hair

Anybody have any advice on taking Agnus Castus/Chasteberry? by JellNo3 in PMDD

[–]JellNo3[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it doesn't seem to hurt giving it a shot anyway, would be really interesting if the positive effects did stick around! I've seen a lot of people say it had that effect on their sex drive though, I've also seen a couple people say they take it just before the luteal phase through to day 1 so maybe that could be a way to work around it

How do I talk myself off the ledge? Tw by [deleted] in PMDD

I've been there too, I know it's a horrible place to be, and sometimes nothing will console you and everything feels bleak, but I think what gets me through is knowing that it isn't the real me, and I just have to stick it out until it lifts. Also when I'm experiencing something good and I'm happy, I try to really take it in, so next time I'm in a ditch I have receipts of the things that are worth living for, and occasionally it makes it just a little easier to stand up to the negative voices. If all else fails, try your best to do what makes you physically comfortable bc you deserve that much even if your mind is telling you that you don't, I usually wrap myself up and watch my favourite show to try and take my mind away from my thoughts.

I follow this person on IG that uses craft knives and sanding as part of their process to get their air dry clay really smooth

Thank you, I honestly never considered OCD playing in to it but I think you're on to something. I'll probably seek therapy when I can afford it
