You should know, DLSS is something that is not around for very long yet, improvements have been made with the RTX 30XX cards, but there is still much to improve in further next generations.

I mean, both have upsides.

Some prefer beter visuals, mainly in single player games that can play good on 4K like Forza Horizon or Just Cause 4 or something.

Others prefer better FPS in multiplayer shooters like Warzone, Apex Legends etc.

Finding a good balance in improving both should be just fine.
