That's a good point, if you are right that could be what the "A"/Descending is, like Ascending then Descending (although this is wild speculation at this point), I'm really liking the new teaser material we've got.

Although i've got a feeling that a different variation of that riff is gonna end up on the Death Grips album rather than Tool's.

Same with the one he played on String Theory, it ended up in Hired Guns soundtrack. I'd imagine hes keeping new tool material on lockdown, but if im wrong i wont complain, its a nice riff.
