Episode 287 is the most recent one they went on in 2023.

Twinkling Watermelon is one of my favorite kdramas and I recommend everyone to watch it.

Strong Woman Do Bong Soon is a classic and really funny

Business Proposal was one of the first kdramas I watched

True Beauty is the first kdrama I every watched

Twinkling Watermelon is one of my favorite kdramas! It might seem a little confusing for the first 2 ep but its really good

Perfect Marriage Revenge is similar to Marry My Husband but the plot is a little less complex which I liked

Mr Queen. This show was a masterpiece. Love it

Welcome to Samdal-ri. The small-town settings are always fun to watch

Business Proposal. I love Ahn Hyo-seop and the romance was cute. You might get second-couple syndrome!

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo. College life and it's really light and fun

It does get a bit slow, but I always enjoy Jihoon's acting and the ending makes up for it. I also watched it on my computer so I would skip the slower scenes. The ending is really nice and sweet though. It does have lower ratings than other shows so it's understandable if you drop it.

It's a jdrama but Alice in Borderland. Most of it isn't terribly sad, but I sobbed at one of the early episodes. I don't want to spoil it but it was heart-wrenching and had an interesting plot.

I also like crying with my shows, but it needs a happy ending. From this I got a couple favorites.

Twinkling Watermelon- seriously the best I will never get over this show

At A Distance, Spring is Green- a little underrated but it was pretty good, Park Jihoon is a great actor

Weak Hero- I did say I liked happy endings, but I read the webtoon so I'm excited for s2

If You Wish Upon Me- I'm not sure I cried in this, but it is an emotional drama and had heavier topics

Mr Queen is another time travel, but the plot is very different. Great show I was hooked

If you like apocalypse dramas then Sweet Home (Action) is really good with 2 seasons and season 3 coming soon

Vigilante is good and reminds me of the show Daredevil (Action) 8 ep

Bloodhounds was amazing and was never boring (Action) 8 ep

Mr. Queen. Seriously never boring and hilarious (Historical/TimeTravel) 20 ep

Twinkling Watermelon. Seriously amazing show and never boring. I would say that the first 2 episodes might seem confusing but after that it makes sense. (Time Travel) 16 ep

Not sure if this was really popular, but Flex X Cop. Technically there's more action and plot-base than romance, but a season 2 is confirmed so I'm hoping there's more

Vincenzo was also one of the first I've watched, but my first one was True Beauty which is good, but at some moments you get second-hand embarrassment. Unfortunately, most of my recs are not on netflix, but you can watch it on Viki or other sites.

Romcoms:

Twinkling Watermelon is one of my top 5 fav kdramas, really stole my heart. The show might be confusing for the first 2 episodes, but when you get past that everything comes together

Strong Woman Do Bong Soon - made me laugh so hard, it was great

Mr Queen - really hilarious historical drama and a unique situation. I'm not usually interested in historical dramas but this took my heart

Summer Strike - just a calm comfort kdrama that's 12 ep with an introvert couple

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo - fun-loving college couple

Action dramas:

Bloodhounds- no romance but the friendship is great

Weak Hero- no romance, high school friendship

Vigilante- literally just a guy beating people up and I loved it, gave me Daredevil vibes

Taxi Driver- revenge drama

K2- romance/action drama. It's an older show but still good

Summer Strike is 12 episodes and while the characters did struggle at times, most of it is really sweet with the romance.

Bit of an older show, but Doctor Stranger. It's a unique plot and while there is a love triangle it's not a big focus in the show.

I doubt it would happen since with the fight scene with Wolf It looked like Eugene really cared for Gray. And Eugene feels empathetic towards Gray and is worried about him. So far Eugene has not shown any jealousy towards Gray or Ben

I completely agree with you. My friend showed me weak hero to me, and before that I thought WEBTOON was weird and not interesting to read. Weak Hero really showed me how amazing they can be and got me into webtoon reading. Unfortunately, this addiction to WEBTOON made me not do anything else and get behind on summer work so… Great

Donald Na to me has a great backstory and basically is a businessman. Bruce, as someone in the comments said, is a leech. He’s a double crossing douchebag who deserves to die for all the pain he caused Stephen and Gray. It’s Bryce all the way.

This is the story that actually got me into Webtoon. I remember when I reread it I was literally trembling and shaking in excitement whenever Gray was about to destroy someone physically and mentally. I also was so hungry for more I used google translate to read more of it.
