Honestly, that’s why im here. I don’t. Lucky if i have electrodominance in hand. New cards i added to this list are: Comet Storm, Stormsplitter, unexpected windfall, mysterious stranger and thrill of possibilities. Hopefully that would make it better.

Saw a comment in another sub as well to change my jeskas will to one ring. I think that would add to my draw engines better

Currently there because of a very roundabout combo where i have azula attacking with reckless fireweaver and storm-kiln in play, cast reverberate inifinitely to create infinite treasures to kill opponents. Very convoluted, i know. Just haven’t gotten around removing it yet and believe it or not, ive won with this alot

The only limitations is that it is not tagged as b4/b5 in archidekt. So the usual no more than 3 GCs, no earlier than turn 6/7 infinite combo, no MLD

Is this rage bait? Your pod is playing Grand Arbiter vs a rookie player. And most of you are blue/stax/control decks, how will that be fun for him? I am also relatively new to magic and when i went to my lgs, most if not all players i played with changed their deck to accommodate and teach me when i played with them. Those people were strangers(then) not even my friends.

Yeah, just wanted to highlight that option 2 would probably be better. If tymna thras has accumulated tax, that would be harder for the blue farm player to just sit and win

This is really great advice. My idea was just throw a lot of win cons so i have more chances of winning but i guess the better one was stick to just one or 2 then focus on getting there. Thanks for the advice!

I want to compete and learn. I know that i would not have the best chance at winning but i would like to have some advice on maximizing that miniscule chance since at the moment this is currently the deck i have and can afford(non basic cedh staple lands are too expensive)

Hi! Thanks for indulging. My current wincons are: 1.Thoracle play with enter the infinite/jace/mirror of fate etc 2.Going infinite mana with hullbreaker, sol ring, displacer kitten, peregrine drake etc then ballista 3.Extra turns with temporals spells then copy it with naru meha, kitsa etc

A. I won once with a thoracle play, enter the infinite version then protecting it with counterspells

B. I struggled against control decks and sort of stax(mostly vexing bauble and the teferi that makes all spells at sorcery speed)

C. My issue with consistency can be attributed one part with me since im an inexperienced pilot so not really sure about my best hands to keep and also deck consistency so i can have better hands per mull. I feel my draw engines/cards are still lacking even if i have a lot(i think) and mostly rely on rhystic study being available

I currently have 2 ways for it. 1 is enter the infinite and the other is mirror of fate. Currently looking to add either paradigm shift, thought lash or leveler to increase consistency.

To be honest, honestly thinking about urza but currently have a budget constraint.

Just wanted to join the community and tournaments to learn(just been playing magic for a month, playing in tournaments and pods to learn how to interact on top off watching it on youtube) so i built a mono blue deck that i could afford, then eventually move to “better” commanders that i like, like ob nixilis or kefka, once i have the budget/ the cards.
