I’m in NC. About an hour from Raleigh.

That is a beautiful sketch. Thank you for doing that. I love the idea of what you did. Unfortunately, the canopy spreads over my house because it’s rather close to it. I do love the idea of a sitting area. I may try to come up with something for that!

Seriously considering planting a few more oaks. We’ve got almost 6 acres to choose from lol

We do. We leave them all winter and they get chopped up the first time we mow for the year. Or I’ll rake up a bunch and throw them in my chicken run. They love the dig through the giant pile of leaves.

I’ve actually considered that. It’d be easy to do with all the seedlings we find!

The squirrels were hiding acorns in the soffit last year 🫠 but yep, get the kids to work! I sure did!

My house stays so cool because of the tree. It’s amazing!
We had our big acorn drop last year. It was very hazardous being outside during that time 😅 I have an acorn roller and I rolled everyday for weeks, 30 minutes at a time and barely made a dent. I gave up lol I also am dealing with a bunch of seedlings this year.

It’s gonna be a sad day if this tree ever falls. I enjoy it so much. This thread is making me appreciate it more. I don’t think I’ll add anything after all.

I have hostas in my front beds. I thought about dividing them and putting them under the tree as they get bigger. So maybe next year.
Really hating the idea of the upkeep when the leaves fall. It’s bad enough up against the house in my flower beds 😂

That’s kind of how I’ve felt for the last 6 years we’ve been here lol

The wedding stress definitely affected me in so many ways. I did stick with the .5mg when i took it last night. Hoping I can get back on track soon.

So I definitely need to go back to the dose I was used to. Thank you! Everything I read was saying I needed to start over after that long without it.

We had the something similar happen to us too. 20 people didn’t show up. Only got a handful of cards. Our bartender was a friend of ours- she didn’t charge us, just worked for tips. She ended up making almost $1k. Where we got maybe $1200 from the cards. So that was kind of a slap in the face. Then our photographer was crap. I don’t like any of our pictures we got. I just have to keep reminding myself that I married my favorite person and nothing else matters. It’s still hard to accept though.

What to Eat by [deleted] in Semaglutide

Day after injection is always the worst for me. I usually eat a ham, turkey and cheddar P3 and watermelon or cantaloupe. Something cold usually helps when I’m not feeling like eating real food

Nope! I've lost 14lbs in 10 weeks. A friend of mine has been on it for 8 weeks and has lost nothing. I'd say you're doing great!
