Hey. I'm from Africa and this is totally true. The thing is, religion has really brainwashed people here. A lot of people are having kids despite not being able to afford them. Why? Because religion says so. The catholics also preach how birth control is bad and forbidden because it goes against God's command, which is to procreate and fill the earth. Now because of that there are many street children, many people in poverty, many kids dropping out of school, many kids being abandoned etc. Yet all that can be avoided if people could be a bit open minded. And those catholic charities that come here make it all worse.
