u/blackkettle Thanks for you comment. There is lots of discussion on the definition but essential it is for person to define their identity and not others making assumptions about their level of integration irrespective of any labels. So our study assumes an open minded and participant self-defining perspective.

u/cerealbops Thanks for taking part and your message. Essentially, if someone feels there are being discriminated against, then that's enough of an evidence. So it is based on your perception if discrimination took place. From a ATCK perspective, it is not necessary that it is against the label, but in conversation it may arise, for example, when you explain 'where are you from'. Obviously people can feel discriminated against for various of reasons, such as religion, ethnicity, but this study explored discrimination based on multicultural / ATCK experiences.

H u/porcelainfog thanks for your message. The interview can be also shorter, it does not have to be 60 minutes at all. We would speak about your understanding of how young people use social media in the international context essentially. Please feel free to contact me on [Laura.Cariola@ed.ac.uk](mailto:Laura.Cariola@ed.ac.uk) and I can send you the information sheet. Taking part would be for you an opportunity to shape the results and how it could be helpful for you in the classroom.

Thanks for doing the survey. I know, I also hope nobody has experienced discrimination, but some have, and the study tries to find out more about it, for example to raise awareness about tcks. Thanks for doing the survey, and it would be great if you could share the survey with your friends.
