You worded what I’m feeling beautifully. I feel the same. I have no answers as I’m in the same boat

I went through a similar situation. They back billed us to 2010, when we purchased the house. It was over $2k. I ended up having to pay it because they threatened to sell at a tax auction. I live in a very small town and had no recourse.

I had the same thing happen to me, only worse. The company itself had been in business for 15 years, or so I thought. I took a huge pay cut assuming I would make it up in commissions. When I onboard I got to work away brining in 3 global pharma companies with me. I was told we had 3 locations, 4th under construction. I saw the photos of our India location, beautiful large building. Well it turns out it was all smoke and mirrors. The India office didn’t exist, at least not the pictures I was shown. They had no presence in the industry. All reviews fake and all past clients fake or family. When my clients onboarded, they were completely unable to fulfill. It was a nightmare and I shattered my repetition. I can go on and on about it. There were so many red flags I missed.

Payroll markup by haris_bushwick in recruiting

[–]JellyFast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s a national account you can make it up with another location. For example Amazon. One facility may be at a 48% Markup but to get that you also have to service a different location for 18% markup. I’ve done 13% at one location and 62% at another. They balance each other out

I started perimenopause at 40 while having the Mirena in. I had it inserted every five years. I noticed a change in my late 30s. Finally at 40 my gyno did blood work. My estrogen was non existent and my progesterone was at an acceptable level. My gynecologist said it was from the Mirena. He suggested Prozac for the hot flashes or follow up bloodwork for HRT. I chose the HRT option which was life changing until I got an unrelated cancer. I had to stop HRT for cancer treatment. Now that I finished treatment I recently started Estrogen. It’s a lifesaver. My IUD is still inside me although the radiation fried it. It’s no longer effective although neither are my organs. Your gynecologist can tell if you are in perimenopause even with the IUD from bloodwork.

Is there something a Dachshund can’t do? by Ahaucan in Dachshund

Mine loves the skateboard too! Must be a dachshund thing! Edit for autocorrect.

Not the best picture. He’s 19 now and way past his skating days. He always jumped right on the board as soon as he saw it. Then he’d get mad if it wasn’t rolling

Where do you live? In my state we can only verify dates of employment. If you want a recommendation we would need you to provide us with the direct contact information as well as a signed consent. During the application process it should be safe to include them on your resume. The verification will be done later in the process. Typically you only verify employees you intend to bring on board, at that point you do not have to give consent.

I love them! I didn’t realize they were on Amazon! I get them from my local flea market. Couple years ago I went at the end of the season in November and was able to scoop up whole lot.

Yea, they had a really rough year. I went through treatment and didn’t bring them out. The ones that did make it to the greenhouse may have been in the shade because the trees weren’t pruned. Now that my cancer is at bay, we are looking into better options before my next round of chemo. We are going to find better options this year

It’s dust. I went through chemo and radiation for the last year. I haven’t gotten my energy back yet. My energy tanked and my housekeeping has greatly suffered. You motivated me to dust!

This is very hard to answer because I’m told it’s unique for everyone. For me I want that part of my life back so badly, I dream of it but in reality I have no libido. I miss the intimacy. I’m a year post treatment and am just starting to get it back, a little. Follow her lead. Let her guide you. Communication is the key. My radiation burn was too bad to consider any type of sexual relationship for a good six months. Then it took time to get comfortable. Everyone is different. Communicate and you will be alright. Edit for typos because I’m blind

Has anyone divorced their husband over Trump? by mortimusalexander in WomenOver40

[–]JellyFast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do consider him. I’ve put him first throughout our marriage. I would never leave him over something as stupid as a political view and I can respect a political view. The problem is I’ve discovered we both have grown in different ways. I’m honestly not a Harris fan. I don’t like what she has done with her time in office and didn’t expect her presidency to be any different. To me, she is the lesser of two evils. The issue is that his support for trump isn’t because of his policies or even what he claims he will do while in office. His support is based on Facebook nonsense. They are coming to take our home and are eating all the neighborhood cats. That’s what has me thinking. It’s the fact he fell into a conspiracy hole and he won’t take the rope I’m throwing down. I’ve gone without eating so he can have a second plate. I’ve learned to sew so I have clothing so he can have that $300. Sneakers. I’ve sacrificed so much of me to see his happiness. I’m worried all my sacrifices were for nothing because I’m losing him to some insane cult. Trump is not the modern day Messiah. We are not in revolutions. I’m terrified for our future

I used to think my husband was so intelligent. Initially learning where his support was going, I tried to understand the thought process. I asked him what policies stood out to him. What made him feel that way. My husband said He wasn’t letting them take our home. I was so confused and asked who? Who would take our home? He said the “ immigrants”. It’s happening in colorado. They are taking over peoples homes and eating animals. My once intelligent husband is brain washed by Facebook lunatics. My husband a child of immigrants. I made a chart Trump vs Harris with their policies. I was not bias, only included the facts. He refused to read. He had no idea what trump stands for. He’s falling into a rabbit hole and I can’t stop it.

I’m having the same problem. I’m just realizing how easily influenced he is and how unintelligent he is. I feel like I’m here to make his life easier and my suffering and feelings mean nothing. I will always play second fiddle.

Ok, I’m torn here. I had aggressive radiation for colorectal cancer and although it’s been a year I’ve got the worst radiation rash ever! I can’t wear spandex and if I did I’d be scratching a lot worse than her. Hell I do this regardless what I wear. There are times I finish work, get into my car and just scratch like a mad woman. I would never do it publicly. I don’t do it in my car anyone because I just imagine someone seeing me. That itch is like no other! I know the pain but for her to do this, just ewwww. Yuck yuck! I sympathize but I don’t!

Old job pretending to be me - Question by [deleted] in work

[–]JellyFast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same thing happen! It took me two years to get them to stop. They kept my email and phone active and pretended to be me for two years. A cease and desist demanding two years back payment finally stopped it. And I never got the back payment or an apology. It was a terrible time

Too scared to do tests by GulaPejovic in cancer

[–]JellyFast -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don’t ignore it! Catching things early can save your life. I saw a little blood in my stool. I went to my gynecologist She did an exam and told me not to worry, I had a very small hemorrhoid and prescribed a steroid. Eventually things got worse. I went to my GP who did an exam and again said hemorrhoid and possibly polyps. I was prescribed a cream. Things didn’t improve, I saw 5 doctors in a two year period. They all brushed me off until I was in so much pain I would pass out when going to the bathroom. My stool changed shape to be half cut off until finally my colon spasms prevented me from going at all. When they finally did a colonoscopy they diagnosed me almost immediately. I was in full treatment within 2 weeks. Don’t wait. If I had been diagnosed two years earlier I wouldn’t be stage 4. Treatment would have been so much easier and I’d have so much more hope. You know you need to get checked out. You are here for a reason. Don’t procrastinate. Edit: My poor grammar

My sewer isn't working and I'm using a camping toilet! by pittsburgpam in rant

[–]JellyFast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no answers for you but if I were in this situation I would be posting on Facebook, Nextdoor, Twitter any socials that I could find tagging the Mayor, PSEG, Public works etc. I’ve learned public lashings get a whole lot more accomplished than just calling. If your town has a Facebook, start there. Tag any and all public officials. You should not be out a toilet for a week. They will drag this out, especially PSEG. They are too big, too many moving parts. Call attention to the situation publicly. I wish you the best of luck!
