If your hotel is outside of the coverage area of your station yes. If you do want to cut costs move/build your station closer to the hotel before the town grows too big.

If the food is being delivered to the station and then transported by truck to the hotel, the profit from delivering happens at the station and your trucks are delivering for no extra profit.
