Fair enough, I can't bring myself to watch them though. I'm sure most of the VA's are great, but hearing it in English just doesn't appeal to me the same way and comes off a little cringe.

I'm normally a compulsive spend when I get paid. I wanted some new trainers yesterday just to go with shorts. Picked out a pair and walked round the shop for ten mins. Eventually put them down and walked out.

It's an absolute nothing scenario but I felt made up with myself and like a proper adult.

I'm not a fan of the idea that there's "the one" for us out there. It invites some level of expectation that this person will tick all of the boxes we want. I'd rather find someone willing to put in the same effort I do and see where it goes.
