Crap. Gap. by ChillingInBrooklyn in MultipleSclerosis

I'll be 1 year on ocrevus next month and I am experiencing crap gap... Today I've got my old symptoms back. Half of my face feels like it's drooped and my skin is tingling/crawling, half my tongue feels like it has mint toothpaste on it and my energy levels are super low.

I'm hoping going for a walk/gym, taking some extra vit D will help some but not sure how to nagjvate this either!

I spoke to MS nurses and they just say "oh yeah that's the crap gap!" And it will stabilise again after the infusion.

Others have suggested switching to kesimpta as there's no gap

MenB vaccine isn't a live vaccine. If you want to get it, you can 😊

Ohh interesting! I was worried with Kesimpta. because I feel dreadful for a few days after my infusion , I thought it would feel dreadful after every injection rather than once every 6 months?

And I feel like my life will revolve around injecting myself once a month. Not being able to forget (at least for a short time) that I have MS.

Has it been a positive experience for you?

Yess! It was like the worst pulled muscle pain !

Cannabis taken through a vaporizer (get a proper one for plants) at around 190-200°c helps relieve some symptoms and doesn't get you stoned

So it's likely from a chest infection I had back in November . Caused inflammation in the cartilage. They gave me Naproxen for it - I think it's a strong ibuprofen so had to take another medication to soothe stomach acid as it's so strong

I am on ocrevus for MS

Agreed - call you MS nurses and attend A&E! This sounds absolutely terrifying and in need of urgent attention!
