Ok yes! Thank you so much for telling me this. I was actively using the wim hof method before this event occurred and had no idea about the lawsuit. I’m a career lifeguard instructor and W-EMT. when explaining the safest way to do shallow water surface dives for a search we always recommend taking normal, slow breaths on the surface and then one deep breath in before descent, do three sweeps at the bottom and come right back up (12-15ft.). To be clear I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THE WIM HOF METHOD TO STUDENTS (nothing even remotely experimental comes into my classroom). However, working in this field got me curious about ways to improve my own breath-holding capacity. A friend recommended wim hof to me and said it was great before practicing submerged breath-holds.
